Felicity's Pov
"I told you to stop playing that freaking instrument Felicity!" dad scolded me which made me stop on reviewing, "You should just focus on your studies para matuloy mo ang business natin!"
Kumunot ang noo ko. But I don't want them to see me rebelling that's why I have nothing to say but yes.
"Okay dad," lumabas na siya at pabagsak na isinara ang pintuan.
I sighed in disbelief. Kinuha ko ang phone ko at tinawagan si Maureen. My friend.
"Maureen? Naistorbo ba kita?"
"Uhm..hindi naman. Bakit ka tumawag?"
"K-kailangan ko lang ng k-kausap," pilit kong tinatago ang lungkot sa boses ko.
"Gusto mo bang mag night out tayo nila Shandi? Isama natin yung iba. Para kung may gumugulo sa utak ko mapagusapan natin."
"I want that."
"Okay, get ready. Sa park lang malapit sa inyo okay? Magjamming tayo."
"Okay. Bye."
Binaba ko na ang tawag. Pinakiramdaman ko muna ang bahay kung tulog na ba sila mom and dad para makaalis ako.
I wear our university jacket and pajamas. I did not bother looking myself at the mirror. I left the house without hesitations and went to the park.
I saw my friends near the play ground, sitting on the bench with a genuine smile on their faces. I can't help but to smile too. Cold wind embrace me as I ran towards them with a smile on my face.
"Hey there Felicity!" Maureen ran towards to me.
I giggled as the both of us landed on grass still hugging each other.
"Hey there Maureen!"
We both stand up and face our other friends.
I saw Breune with guitar on his neck.
"What should we sing?"
They shrugged.
"I wanna sing that song from Ed Sheeran?"
I giggled, "what song from him?"
Maureen was about to answer when Breune started strumming his guitar.
A grin form in my lips, "you are the one girl, and you know that its true."
I was the one singing first but Maureen, Shandi, Jasper and Xander started to sing along.
