Sans POV

I felt that this was too heavy a subject for even just our house, so I suggested,
"You know what, kid? Do you want to go to Grillby's?"
She studies my face for a few moments, and I feared she would reject my proposal, but she agreed, instead.
With a sigh of relief, I take her greyed hand.
She gave me a bored look. Little to no emotion. I'm starting to think that fragments like her have little to none emotion.
After using my little shortcut, we walk in, and for once there is no one here, excepting Grillbz of course.
I was about to ask if she wanted to eat something first, and she seemed to be thinking the same thing, but instead insisted on starting on what she needed to do, first.
Well, here goes nothing.
She exhaled slowly.
"I am fragment. Meaning, I have not an entire soul, but a part. Without the other fragments, I cannot truly become Y/N herself. I do not have all of her same memories, emotions, or even the same heart, as her soul is divided, and scattered."
She paused, for a breath, expecting me to ask a question, so I seized the opportunity.
"There is a way to place the pieces of Y/N's soul back together, right? Kid, please, tell me how to put them back. How to find them..." My voice trails off. What if this was all that there was left of her?
"Chara may have scattered the soul fragments, but we (the lost fragments) have found a way to connect the pieces together. An unreliable plan of which may be nothing but malarchy."
Seeing me still yet eager, the fragment shifted her weight in her seat, and continues.
"The plan would be to retrieve the memories, the tastes, the smells, the emotions, everything, because then, and only then, with the most connected of them all, lays a fragment."
She hid her face, her head leaning downwards.
A drop of water fell on the floor. It was as if I could hear the echo of the drop. She was crying. Why, I do not know. But there is one thing I do know.
I have to do something to--
"No. Stop. S-stop!"
She cried out, her colorless eyes widened with... Pain?
"Are you alright, buttercup?!"
Rushing to her side, I smoothed her hair to calm her. You know what, that sounds pretty creepy, but I remember Y/N would calm down more quickly if I did that.
Y/N's first fragment was still shuddering, but calmed down a bit.
"There-- there are seven different fragments, and seven different soul fragments for each. Determination, Justice, Kindness, Perseverance, Patience, Integrity, and Bravery. These are the different fragments' attributes."
She gasped for air, wobbling.
"Thanks buttercup, that's enough. Let's not do this right now. You're obviously in some kind of pain right now and we wouldn't want to get you injured... Again..."
I trailed off and grasped hold of her still slightly trembling palm, and whisked Y/N away.
That is, of course, after grabbing a spare ketchup bottle.
