(Max's POV)
I didn't answer David so I wouldn't sound like a pussy, but it was the song that made me break down. It had reminded me so much of how my parents treated me that I started to cry. That song always did that I would cry myself to sleep with it or else I wouldn't sleep. David wrapped his arms around me and held me tight, I soon began to grow drowsy and before I knew it I was sleeping. In David's arms on his bed. Maybe tomorrow would be different.
I woke In the morning and kissed David on the lips before leaving to the woods. I walked to the edge of lake lavender and took off my shoes and socks. The water was cold and shallow I made my feet feel like a mermaid's tail. I started to sing letting my heart do the talking. This wasn't normal for me, but I let it happen. I started calmly
