David's POV)
I started my day the way most people wouldn't by taking my Anti Depression medication, and bi polar regulator, you see everyone has no idea what kind of raging (boner ;) sorry that was childish) terror I can be without these. I'm not crazy or anything I just have really really really strong emotions and without my medication I'm quite one heck of a mess. I headed out into the morning sun to see Max tied up on the flag poll. Dolph was yelling something at him that was french I ran over to them, seeing Nikki and Neil both trying to help Max down. I looked Nikki in the eyes and pointed to Dolph who was holding the rope "Get him girl" Nikki pounced on Dolph while I dashed to save Max from falling. The only downside of catching Max was the the weight of fall on my arms.

If you didn't catch that Max sprained one of my arms. I set him on the ground and untied him receiving a nice warm hug from him, before the pain finally kicked in I screamed a bit under my breath. Max looked worried as he rushed me to Gwen who sprayed and rapped my arm up tight. I was told what had happened while Gwen was fixing me from Max. Turns out Dolph believed Max was a witch because he'd spent the entirety of yesterday in his tent. I laughed at the story and finally once it was over we got everyone to the mess hall for Breakfast.

I watched all the kids sit down and eat, Max included, before finally getting my own breakfast. I listened to the conversations nearby about this mornings incident and how rumors about Max's heart where being passed around. You see glass hearts are rather uncommon while gold hearts are everywhere, and the world sees those who are glass as unfixable or broken. Your heart doesn't change the person you are to the world, for example I'm rather nice and kind with my meds but without them I could cry or lash out at any second. Plenty of gold hearted people are sad or lonely, just as plenty of glass hearted people are positive and fun filled. For this wonderful camp Max is the only glass hearted teen, he's and oddity or a flamingo in a group of ostriches.

I looked to my phone for today's camp wide activity which so happened to be one of Max's favorites sewing. Now before you ask no I'm not a creep I've just seen Max act very happily while we did this activity last time. I quieted the children as best I could with Gwen's help and told them the activity most scoffed or rolled their eyes,  but I watched Max's half sphere eyes light up when I said that. Finally they finished eating and all headed out to the designated area for it.

(After sewing for a few hours)

I watched the kids head into the mess hall for food and waited till every was sat down before getting my own food and pulling Max outside to eat together. We found a shady place and sat down on the grass "So Max since we're technically together now, could I know more about you?" I asked fixing the little strand of hair that fell in my face. Max smiled "Well Let's see, I was a mistake brought on by a broken condom, my parents are constantly at each other's throats, I have a Glass Heart, I find comfort in books and music I can play a little bit of piano, and my middle name is Melanie" I almost choked on my water about the last one "Melanie?" Max laughed "Yeah my parents wanted a girl and refused to change the name" he ate a little bit of his sandwich. I smiled "I myself am rather the opposite, I was raised in farm by my loving parents, they are still together to this day, I myself have a Gold Heart, I have to take medication for my bipolar disorder and depression, I find comfort in nature, and my own middle name is Henry." Max looked at me "seriously? You? Medication? Don't fuck me David" I pulled out the pill bottles and handed them to him. I watched him inspect them carefully before handing them back and hugging me I was shocked yet hugged back.

Finally our conversation was over and it was time for Preston's skits. Gwen had gotten all the kids to sit down with only 2 issues occurring Dolph started to
Speak French again and Space kid had his helmet unscrewed to much. Everyone watched the skit without issue.

(Neil) Jeremiah:  Nancy I can't raise this baby with you
(Nikki) Nancy: But it's yours Jeremiah look at him he has your eyes
(Max)  Baby: Wah bitches
Jeremiah: He isn't even my tone
Nancy: so he's darker, doll that shouldn't matter
Jeremiah: But he isn't mine
Nancy: *slaps him*
Baby: Wahh I guess
Jeremiah: He isn't mine damnit women
Nancy: Fine then leave i'll raise him on my own
Baby: *obvious fake sobs*
Jeremiah: Walks off stage*

(Yeah that was The skit)

No one clapped but Preston seemed happy with it. The kids walked back to their tents and got ready for bed. I supervised the few who where still up before heading to bed myself I was tired, probably had a mosquito bite on my nose, and had watched the light go off in Max's tent so quite frankly my bed was calling me.
