My heart pounded as I ran through the dense forest, My breath hitching in my throat as I tripped over my feet for what seemed like the millionth time, theres no way that whomever was chasing me wasn't almost upon me, and my worst fears were confirmed

"Come on Helena" A deep gruff violent voice came from close behind me "You can't outrun or hide from me."

I saw the bright lights from the asylum pop up in front of me, I had run in a circle, they were going to catch me.

"Silly girl" I heard him as he came upon me "I warned y-" And he didn't speak again, I refused to turn my head or move as a wolf devoured his body, the crunching of bones was enough to chill your soul but the worse part was the screaming that could be heard over the loud growls of the tremendous beast.

I began to run, to the left, then the right, my feet pounding into the autumn leaves. Tears were falling down my face, wetting my blue and white paper-like hospital gown, tears in it from the brambles scratching at my skin. I began to weep, causing me to slow down. a long low growl was heard from behind me. A shadow to the right made me turn left, but a shadow to the left made me turn forward and continue my run. I began to scream violently, my voice becoming softer and softer as I saw a road. I came careening around the corner my feet becoming bloody as the gravel tore into my skin.

As I got farther down the road I could see lights from the town. My parents lived there, my friends and teachers lived there. And they all abandoned me in that asylum. I should pay them a visit I suppose, maybe they'll be happy. Maybe they'll be scared. I saw the people bustling about their business. I began to scream, their hollow eyes boring into my soul. I could see the blood coming out of every crevice of their body, the smell of rotting flesh filled the air, and suddenly I was on top of my sister eating her fingers as she screamed, I could see my mother staring in shock and my father and brother dead in their soup.
