finally felt at home (part 1)

i know i know! i should never make schedules cause i cant stick to them! but its not my fault! wewent on vaccation for rafting (which was amazing) and then i had these big sets of assignments to complete and school will open soon too. ugh! i hate waking up early but i have to suck it up..

Markus pov

It’s been 3 days. Three freaking days since Anna was kidnapped. I am going crazy and my wolf is not helping. I had no idea where she is and I don’t even know if she is hurt. I swear to all that is holy that I am going to kill anyone who even lays a hand on her.

I was shocked when I was told that no one could find Anna. I went and searched for her. Her smell led me to an alleyway and that was it. It was like she vanished and I had no idea what to do. I had broken four tables and eight chairs.

I think the glass vase is next.

 “dude! You alright there?” it was Jordan.

“what does it look like?” I all but growled

“who do you think took her?” he asked

“I think it is unicorn. That day she was telling me she loves unicorn. Ugh!! I am going to kill him” I growled out angrily.

I expected Jordan to look confused or angry, but he laughed. He laughed and it got to my last nerve.

“why are you laughing?” I asked angrily. He had no right to laugh when my mate was kidnapped! “dude! Unicorn is a horse with a horn! Its not real” he exclaimed.

“oh” how foolish of me. I face palmed myself. Ugh! Did I really get A+ in all my exams? I am so dumb.

“where can she be?”

“I don’t know” I growled. Not knowing where she was, was killing me. I needed her like I need air to breath or water to quench my thirst. I didn’t even know how she was. She could be... No! No! she cannot. I’ll die without her.

“she will be fine. Don’t worry Alpha. She is very strong” it was Cassadra, my mates best friend.

That was when I vowed to myself, I will find her and make sure she is safe, even if it’s the last thing that I do

We were at the river valley. This is where most people went when someone went missing. The river valley was a beautiful place. There was a big waterfall surrounded by large forests and meadows. It was the home of fairies. Among them lived Aroba. She was powerful and the leader.

I was sure she would tell me where Annabelle was as she owed me. Most of you must think that fairies are nice creatures but they are not. They are deadly and will never help you. They hated all type of creatures from werewolf to vampire to elf’s. But Aroba has to help me as she owed me. I had once saved her life and she had told me she would grant one of my wishes, if they were logical and possible

And this was my chance. I would ask her to take me to Annabelle.

We walked towards the little glowing flower in the middle of the waterfall. That was Aroba’s house. Fairies were small creatures, no taller than your middle finger and that was pushing it.

Most of them lived in flowers of shells.  Aroba lived in the flowers. I approached the flower slowly telling my pack members to stay where they were. The water below me reached only my calf which I was thankful for.

“who dares enter my water fall” a powerful but deadly voice said. It was Aroba. Suddenly there was a flash of light and in front of us appeared Aroba, the deadly.

“its me, Markus. I hope you haven’t forgotten that you owed me.” I said in my alpha voice. No matter how deadly she was, I was still an alpha and I will never bow to her.

“Ah! You finally came” her voice was hissy and like a snakes. He bright orange hair were loose and she was wearing a black gown, and her fangs were showing.

“tell me, and I shall grant your wish, if I can. Choose wisely” she said in the same deadly voice.

“I want you to take me to Annabelle, my mate” I said.

“oh, you mean Anthia. I shall take you there, but remember, the place she is in, its bad, you may not come back. I give you another chance, change your wish” she said.

“I will not! Take me to my mate” anger seeped into my voice.

“very well” her deadly voice hissed. Slowly she started saying a number of chants.

‘take them out of here’ I mind linked Jordan telling him to take the pack members back. This was my fight and I will fight it alone. She was still hissing chants as a black light started to surround me. And suddenly I blacked out.

“wake up Markus! Please” I was woken up by the sweet voice of my mate. Wait! Mate. Anna. I am here with her? I was quick to open my eyes only to find myself in a cellar. I looked up to see Anna crying, tied to a chair with blood coming out of her hands from where they were tied.

Oh shit! She is bleeding and crying. I quickly ran to her and opened the ropes. She fell straight to my chest as I hugged her tightly to myself. Finally I felt better with her in my arms.

I was going to kill them, the ones who hurt her.
