I laid in my bed, full and high as hell. I took a hit from my 2nd blunt. I don't know what they put in this shit, but it was really fucking me up.
"Aye, Kandi." I slowly looked at the door.
"Huh?"
"You good?"
"Yeah, Andre." I muttered, flipping on my stomach.
"Come on, we going for a ride."
"Nooooo." I whine, hugging my pillow.
"Yesssss, let's go."
"I thought you didn't want me around your friends."
"Ion want you alone on Saturday either, le's get it." I sucked my teeth and got up quickly. I sat back down just as fast, feeling dizzy.
"Man, come on." Andre rolled his eyes as I got up. We walked downstairs together and I avoided the stairs of the two boys I met earlier. I said nothing as I followed my cousin out of the door. I hopped in the passenger side quick as hell and let them sit in the back.
"I'm tired of being broke, nigga imma sell drugs. Ion care if it's Molly or coke, shit cause imma thug." I mumbled to the beat that was playing through the speakers.
"What you rapping?" Somebody asked.
"My god damn life story. I wanna sell drugs."
"Stop sayin' that." My cousin said.
"If she wanna sell drugs, let her sell em." I heard this boy's voice the least, he was laughing.
"You think it's funny, but I'm dead ass serious. Either that, or I'm stripping. Pick." I looked at my cousin.
"Youn want them problems coming out the streets. Youn want these problems if I find out you shaking ass!" I shrugged.
"Say what you want." I mumble, laying my head against the seat. I needed a nap.
"KANDI!" I jumped up and looked at my cousin, ignoring the laughs from the back seat.
"WHAAAAT?" I screamed in his face, making them laugh even harder.
"We here." He told me. I looked up to see we were in a full parking lot. Looking to my left, I see that we came to the mall.
"What we here for?" I asked.
"To buy some'...duh." I turned around and looked st the dread head.
"Boy, What is yo name? You got so much to say to me."
"Lemme just introduce you to everybody. That's Andrew or Drew, Remy, and Kazarion—But we call him K." Before I could get anything out, Kazarion opened his mouth.
"Ion know you like that, call me Skooly." I roll my eyes.
"Nigga—"
"And this—firecracker lil girl—is Kandi."
"Ion know them like that, call me Kandice." I said, eying "Skooly" or K or whoever. He just smirked. We all got out of the car, but I was walking far ahead of them. I put on my sunglasses and got on my bad bitch mode like I always do when I go to the mall. A couple of seconds after I walked in, they did.
I was hoping I would lose them eventually, but I heard they loud asses even going into my first store. I went into City Gear, being greeted at a girl on the floor. I went to the wall and started looking at some of the sneakers.
"Damn, then hoes clean." I jumped a little at Skooly's voice as he picked up a men's shoe a little ways down from me. I didn't pay him any attention after that, I just picked up another shoe.
"You was for real? When you said you wanted to make some money?" I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah." I was fronting like a motherfucker, but I did it good.
"I can put you on."
"You for real?"
"Yeah. Gimme ya number so I can meet you without ya cousin." I bite my lip and held my hand out for his phone. He gives it to me and I put my name in as 'K🍫'. He smiled when he looked at the name, and put his phone in his pocket. Dre always hanging around some criminals.
"Cool. We need a pretty face outchea...I like to set niggas up." He was looking at me weirdly, making me shift.
"Thanks." I mumbled.
"Yea, shawty. We gotta link later, aight?" I nodded, a little nervous.
"Okay."
"K! Come here right quick." He walked away and I sighed, thinking about what I got myself into.
Well...at least a nigga getting some more money in.
