"So, Thomas how have you been?" my guest asks me politely at the door. My eyes and mouth are still wide open from shock and I can't seem to let out a word. "Fine..." I say a bit confused still. I had thought that Miles had left for London a few months ago. He was my only friend at school so for the past few months I have been quite lonely, especially at school. "Would you like to come in?" I offer to him. He looked down in thought with a sad look on his face, but looks back up with a smile. "Sure!" he answered me gleefully.

We walk into the living room and sit down opposite each other. "So how was London? And why are you back?" I ask impatiently. He answered quite simply, but had a stress face on. "It was great! I'm only back for a bit, but there is a reason I'm back and it involves you."

"Me!" I ask him. "What do you mean?" His face and what he stated made me worry and I felt sweat roll down my face. He exhaled before continuing with a stressed voice.

"You have seen a girl haven't you. To be honest this information could cost my life, but I don't want your life lost from something you weren't meant to be involved in. That girl isn't human nor alive. She's a ghost as you probably might have guessed and she is essential for experimenting the dead at my company. The whole reason I moved to London was to work with them as I've seen a ghost before too and it was either work for them or die. I think I made the right choice as I get to tell you this now."

It was a lot of information to take in so I leaned back and tried to take in him words. So, that girl was a ghost who is needed for Miles's company and also may cost my life. The idea of me dying was unpleasant, but experimenting on that girl made me even madder. Even if she was dead I do not want her to have to be tested on by force. Miles is so unlucky to be working with crazy supernatural psychos. It was even more crazy to believe she was a ghost though. Yes, it did make a little sense, but I don't believe in ghosts so what says that Miles was telling the truth.
