He was here again and I was so happy to see him. I had gotten used to the ghost thing during the time I had been gone and now I stay here just to dance. I've found that I'm only ever seen at night and only by this guy so far. I don't think I want others to see me though.
He asks me again, "where have you been?" Pretty simple question. I start writing on the pad, a bit faster this time as I was less nervous. "I was finding myself," I write down and show him. He looked a bit confused then nodded. Getting to know myself as a ghost is hard to take in, but he seemed to understand my situation. Instead of asking he just said, "well I'm happy you're back." I smile at his remark. I feel that I've made a friend, which seems almost impossible for a ghost. Maybe we were fated to meet when I was alive, but it took a different turn.
I decide to ask him some stuff today, so I write down "tell me about yourself" and show him. It was pretty vague, but just a small sum up was fine. He hesitated as he began talking after thinking. "I'm Thomas, I'm 16 years old, I don't play sports, but I like to draw and read and I come here to relax." Short and simple as I had expected to get. Thomas. It was a name that somehow feels familiar, but I don't know why. I couldn't have known him in my past life if he doesn't recognise me.
I couldn't think what else to say so I turn around and try walk whilst balancing on my toes. "Did you do ballet?" he asked me from behind. I drop and turn to him. My hair softly swayed to my left and I nod. It seems like the only thing I'm certain about my past.
Then I put down my pad on a bench nearby, him giving me a strange look during the process of it. I walk up to him and grab his hand. He seemed surprised at first before I led him near the edge of the railing. I started to climb and he got a bit worried. He was cute worrying about me. I couldn't get hurt though. I continued and he held onto me so I wouldn't fall. I know ballet did help me with balance so I was fine.
Once up I began tip-toeing again and he held my hand. It didn't take too long to get to the other side before I jumped off. He seemed to have turned a tad too white. I smile at him and walk back to where we started. He followed and asked, "you know, you're very pretty, so it's not shocking that you're a ballerina." I flash him yet another smile before grabbing the pad and writing "thank you". He smiled at it and I began to see a hint of blush on his face. I don't think he's very sociable. He seems to be with me, but still a bit shy. He did talk quietly and seemed to stumble on his words at times. Maybe it was just because he was talking to a ghost. It would make sense. I think I would have acted the same. Thomas.
