jaaaaaaaaaackfrost. What kind of username is that? Why ten a’s? You know what? It doesn’t matter. All that matters is that I know this person’s screen name so I can message them. Or at least try to. They would have had to gone or be going through the same thing to come up with this right? Right?! Oh gods, if I’m wrong……. Whatever. YOLO. Did I seriously just say that? That’s it, I’m going insane. I have to talk to them. What do I even say? Oh gods. Welp, here I go. There. It’s done. No turning back now. The message staring back up at me.
emotionally.unstable: has this ‘story idea’ by any chance actually happened to you or a friend?
I hope I don’t sound insane. I probably do. I always do. Everything is going so fast I feel like I've been at this for weeks. It doesn't matter thought. The message is sent. All I can do is wait.
~the next morning~
Waking up early is not fun. I can speak from experience. But it's especially annoying when it's your birthday. Yes, yes, it's my birthday today! Don't make a big deal out of it. I'm sure not going to. Ever since the beginning of the month, I've started a countdown to my birthday on snapchat, yet only two of my friends have noticed. Well, no use in telling people now. No one's cared enough to notice. I woke up earlier than usual today to, not only to my tame my wild hair, but to see if jaaaaaaaaaackfrost answered my question. And sure enough, they did.
jaaaaaaaaaackfrost: why do you need to know??
Huh. Not the exact response I was hoping for. But apparently the message had been sent only four minutes ago! If I want to get information from this person, I need to act fast. I quickly typed out a response as I hopped out of bed.
emotionally.unstable: okay ik I may sound crazy but just trust me on this. the exact thing that you described actually happened to me yesterday and I'm freaking out. I have no idea what I should do because the character is a few years younger than when he first appeared in the books but no one believes me and I'm just so so sooooo confused!!!!
I immediately threw on my black skinny jeans, black spots bra, black tank top, black long sleeve, hooded, cropped sweater, and black socks. Yes I'm aware, I really like black. I grabbed my brush and hastily brushed my golden locks back into a ponytail slightly higher than the middle of my head. As I was trying the black ribbon, with white polka dots on it, around my yellow hair tie, I heard a soft 'ding’ from my phone.
jaaaaaaaaaackfrost: I can't talk now but text me again at 5:30, then we'll talk…..
5:30. 5:30! That's perfect! I can't believe it! I'm not the only one experiencing this. For the first time in a while, I finally feel like I'm not alone.
Today I got to school surprisingly early. When I walked into homeroom, there was only two other people there. Clara and some other girl that I don't really talk to. I set my Spanish supplies down at my assigned homeroom seat and walked over to Clara. The seats in the Spanish room are set up in pairs, and we all have assigned seats. I was blessed with having a desk partner who is never there in homeroom. Unfortunately, Clara was forced to sit next to James for the entire year. I took a seat at James's desk and began to chat with Clara about random nonsense *cough cough* the insane new dress code that's impossible to follow *cough cough* after she said "happy birthday" to me. There was still about ten minutes until school officially started at 8, so that meant ten minutes until James got here.
Ten minutes flies by real quick when you're talking about something you love with someone you love. Before I knew it, James walked in and was towering over me as I was still seated in his chair. “Hi,” he said, slightly annoyed. “Hi!” I responded and continued to talk to Clara. “Are you gonna move?” James asked impatiently. “Nope,” I replied, popping the 'p’. James sighed heavily and began to kick one of the chair's legs. Of course it didn't do that much because I was safely seated in his chair. After about a minute or so, James picked up the side of the chair so it was only balancing on one leg. I clutched the sides of the chair so hard that my knuckles began to turn white. With one final jerk of the chair, I quietly yelped and fell on the floor, landing on my hands and knees. I stood up and gave him a playful glare. Jessica, who sits at the desk in front of me, smirked as I brushed off my jeans and walked back to seat. This was going to be a long day.
A/N: sorry for not updating in so long, I just didn't know how to move the story along. Also, the thing with getting thrown out of a chair in homeroom actually happened to me yesterday and I thought I should share it with you guys because it's really funny. Thanks for reading, voting and commenting! See ya next next chapter!!
