It was the next day and I was sitting on my bed reading the book, The Maze Runner, when I noticed a text from Julia in a group chat between Clare, Julia, and I.
Julia😊🎤: Guys help! I'm freaking out!
Clare😘👯: Omg what is it!
Me: what is it???
Julia😊🎤: I have my date with Hayden today, and I have NO clue what to wear!!! Ugh I'm stressing
Me: Where are you guys going?
Julia😊🎤: Just to the mall for smoothies
Clare😘👯: send us pics of your outfit options
Julia😊🎤: I don't really have any.....
Me: you're not making this any easier😂
Julia😊👯: let's start with a top
Clare😘👯: You should wear that super cute black crop top from Hollister that you have !
Me: Oh yeah! I like that one
Julia😊🎤: kk got it, what else?
Clare😘👯: what about that cute, white bralette from Aerie
Julia😊🎤: Yes got it!
Me: Oh and then wear your army green shorts!
Clare😘👯: And wear your black converse
Julia😊🎤: Thx so much! How should I do my hair?

     I think that I'm finally starting to move on from Hayden a little. I mean, I just gave his girlfriend advice on what to wear to their date.
     "Hayley!" I shout to her room.
     "What!" She responds.
     "Do you wanna go swimming?" I ask.
     "Yes!!!" She screams excitedly. We both get our bathing suits on, and head downstairs to the lake. I run super fast and I run all the way to the end of the dock and I jump off. Hayley follows. We swim for hours. We were doing a ton of flips off the dock and boat. I quit gymnastics a year ago, so I'm still a little rusty on my flips and jumps, but I can still do them pretty good.
     "I'm gonna try a front flip!" Hayley says excitedly.
     "Ok, I'll watch your form." I suggest. She climbs up the ladder and stands at the edge of the dock in her ready position. Then she immediately jumps into her flip, but she instead of going into the water feet first, she smacks her belly right on to the water. The noise alone sounded painful. She instantly swims to the top of the water with tears. She whines and cries as I get her out of the water. I notice a giant, red splotch on her stomach form the belly flop.
     "It's ok Hayley." I say as her tears fall on my hands.
     "My tummy hurts!" She squeals.
     "Shhhh, here lets go get you some cold ice to set on you tummy." I suggest. She viciously nods her head. When I enter the house, my mom yells.
     "Annie! Your phone keeps going off! I think someone's texting you." She yells.
     "Ok I'll check it! Just one sec!" I get Hayley her ice pack and she sits on the couch and watches tv with a towel over her. I run upstairs and check my phone. I notice another text in the group chat out of nowhere.

Clare😘🎤: Oh no! What's wrong!!
Me: What is it!?!?!
Julia😊🎤: ....Hayden just broke up with me
