*Kei's POV*

To the majority, I'm just an heir to one of Japan's largest company. A smartass who's always on top of anything. A guy who could get anything he wants. But I can never be the man who will know what is going on in this girl's head.

She may look plain on the outside to some, but she's not really like all the other girls. She's different. She's the only one who defied me, and even dared to be my rival (where she succeeded on). The "Rival" title wasn't the only unknown achievement she received, but also "My One True Love". She's slow and always takes my every move as an assault or an attack, when the only thing I want to do was please her.

But things start to change, only little by little. And as little as it may be, it still makes me feel conscious. Very very very conscious. And shy. Which is not really me.

That's one of the amazing things about her. When I'm around this woman, I'm like a far different person. She makes me smile. And she makes me feel Love with a punch in the face, or with a battle in a Jigsaw puzzle.

And as I said, things are starting to change little by little. I'm happy, of course. Extremely happy. But the feeling is totally surreal, and a bit alien. It's unlike getting a 100% on the final examination. Or getting the biggest share on your company. Or getting yourself to replace your father on the title of C.E.O.. No. It's not like that. It's far different.

It is like you are getting near to solve the hardest mathematical problem in your life. And it is nearly fulfilling.

What should you feel when the person you've wanted to spend rest of your life with is in front of you? I don't know. Really. 'Cause I feel pretty plenty of emotions now. I'm over-joyed, excited, nervous, giddy, conscious, confident, embarrassed, and stunned all at the same time.

But what should you feel when the person you've always loved finally loved you back? For that I know. 'Cause she's making it clear as crystal to me.

I know the time will come where I will get to hold and run the company. And handle all the stress and all of its load on my shoulders. But when that time comes, I want to have a nice home to go home to after work. And a wife who would smile at me, which is I specifically wanted as Hikari Hanazono.

Well, now I'm standing here in her room, watching her sleep like a harmless angel. Though she's no harmless angel to everyone, she's always been to me. I can't help but smile. I can even feel my eyes twinkle. Really funny, 'cause I only feel this way when I'm with her.

I guess she's starting to wake up. I can see her eyes twitching. She would probably be surprised to see me my face hovering over hers. I stood up and headed to the terrace. I'll just show myself if she's fully awake. And when I say "fully awake", that's when she starts to talk to herself. I often see that. It's a bit creepy, but cute.

I half-closed the curtains, just showing a bit of the sunset..

I faced the beach, and it's beautiful. Life is beautiful. It really is. It would always be perfect, as long as I know she's here.

Hikari immediately opened her eyes. Where am I? She looked around, and found herself on her bed in her cabin. Why am I in here? What happened?

She was so flooded with all the thoughts running over her head when she saw somebody standing outside, just behind the curtains. "Who's there?", she asked the stranger.

The figure turned and parted the curtains. It's Takishima.

"So that's how you greet me after you fainted at the beach? After I carried you all the way to villa? And up the stairs? And into your room?", he said trying his hardest to stay serious.

"I.. What?!", she exclaimed wide-eyed. But all the things that happened came back to her. She thought it was just a dream. That she didn't really ask that. That very, very embarrassing question. She hurriedly averted her eyes from his.

Takishima walked slowly to the chair beside her bed, without keeping his eyes on her blushing face.

"Can I answer your question now?", he asked with a bit of tease.

Hikari blushed intensely from her neck to her face. Totally overheating. I'm dying. I'm gonna die of embarrassment. Save me. Please, save me.

Takishima bursted out laughing. He slapped the nearby table simultaneously.

Confused, Hikari raised her head. "Why are you laughing?!"

His laugh faded, and looked at her. "I just can't help myself.. We've known each other for so long, yet you still act like I'm a different person."

Hikari smiled and stared at her palm. " No, not really. I just feel uneasy when you're around, since that happened in London."

"And what exactly happened?" Takishima said, smiling sweetly as he helps Hikari overcome her fears.

Hikari turned her head towards Takishima. "Well, I think something happened really unexpected for mere rivals.."

"And what was that?"

"Uhm.. We fell in love.." Hikari said, glancing at Takishima.

Well, Kei didn't really expect her to say it that bluntly. It also made him feel tingly. So, he just stared at her dumbfounded and excited, and overjoyed, all at the same time.

Hikari saw his reaction, and took her words as a wrong move.

"Wait.. I mean.. I don't know. I fell in love.. No.. I am in love with you.. And I was just.. I was thinking you love me, too.. No.. I'm wondering if, you know. If you feel the same way.. Hahaha. What am I say--"

"I love you more than you have ever known", cutting her off in mid sentence. He said, with mirth in his eyes. Mirth, and love.
