Amelia
First lesson was psychology, which I suppose isn't too bad on a Monday morning, not boring and wakes you up. However, today I was extra on edge seeing as it was my first day and the fact that Calum was acting so strangely.
I walked into the room, most of the seats were taken by second years who probably had that seat last year, and the nerds who want to catch the teachers attention to show off how smart they are. I was somewhere in the middle of the 'badass' students and the nerds, so I took one of the only seats left seat to a peculiar boy who had blue hair.
I walked over to his table and smiled, he sighed and moved his bag from the chair I had my eye on. I sat down and waited for him to introduce himself
"Michael Clifford, pleased to meet you." He spoke, strangely politely after his sigh of having to move his bag, and pushed his hand towards me, I took it and shook it lightly.
"Amelia Woods, nice to meet you too." I smiled again.
This time he smiled back. "So," he began awkwardly "First year?" He asked
"Yeah" I nodded, "you?"
"Yep." He replied
Thankfully the lesson began so we didn't have to carry on our awkward exchange.
About halfway into the lesson after the teacher introduced himself as Mr Oldham, the door swung open revealing a very angry looking teacher and a bored looking boy.
"Luke Hemmings sir, he is interrupting my lesson with his shouting out and refusal to co-operate, please can he finish his work in here?"
Mr Oldham sighed "it's the first day Luke," he shook his head, "You know the score" he said to him, Luke went and sat on a table in the corner and slammed his papers down.
"North!" Someone shouted from the back, Luke turned around and flipped whoever said it off, however, he did it with a smile on his face. As the female teacher who brought him in left the room he flipped her off as well.
"Do you know him?" I whispered to Michael.
"No, well I know he lives on my estate, but thats it, you?" He replied
"Same! What quarter are you on?" I said back.
"West," he grinned
"Me too!" I laughed, "you're not in the gang are you?" I questioned
"Oh no," he shook his head, "Calum has been trying to get me in but I'm really not into all of that"
"I wish he wasn't" I sighed
"You know him?" Michael asked
"Yeah, he happens to be my boyfriend, but since he's been in West and became the basic leader, he's changed and I don't like it." I said, not really sure why I was sharing this with Michael.
"Yeah I heard it changes people." Michael sighed and went back to his work.
When the class finished I stood up and said goodbye to Mikey (we had had a conversation during the lesson where Mikey told me to call him that.)
As I was leaving I bumped into Luke.
"Watch out" he scowled
"Whatever happened to ladies first?" I snarled back and pushed passed him into the corridor to get to my next lesson.
At lunch time I waited outside for Calum so we could go and get chips, he was taking quite a long time. I saw Mikey's blue hair come outside as well. I shouted him over.
"Hey," he said and sat on the bench next to me.
"Hi" I smiled "I'm just waiting for Calum"
"No no no no! Amelia! Calum hates me! I need to go!" he gets up and starts running away, just as Calum comes out of the main entrance.
"Was that Michael Clifford?" He asked
"No?" I answered unsure of what to say.
"Don't lie to me!" Calum shouted suddenly, I jumped and stood up.
"Yes it was! He sits next to me in psychology and I asked him to wait with me, why?" I exclaimed.
"Did you kiss him?"
"What the hell! Of course not! I've only just met him! I don't go round kissing people who I just met!" I shout, referring to earlier in the summer when Calum kissed someone at a club, which I stupidly forgave him for.
People were starting to stare but I honestly didn't give a shit because Calum was really the worst boyfriend ever.
"Yeah well I had actually met her before, and guess what? I had fucked her the day before, and we've been fucking all summer!" He said eerily calmly, the smug smirk on his face really got to me and thats when I slapped him.
