i remember the day i drove back into the city
desperately breathing in the air
that i last inhaled with you
it was a mix of agony and sadness,
your favorite combination in a woman
of course,
not at first
you liked girls whose smiles overpowered the sun
and her eyes had to have a gleam of hope,
the kind you lost years ago
you liked girls who had the world at their finger tips,
girls whose soul ran deeper than any ocean or....
the hole in your heart
then you would ease your way inside
and take it.
you would bathe in the happiness that was never yours to begin with
how long before you drown in your own poison and subside?
Pall of your wrongs,
that's something you can't hide
-gemini.
