Dandelion's POV

I've been stressing all day. I'm in fifth period and the only thing I've been able to think about today is that I had to talk to Jax and the end of it. I've been staring at the clock and it seemed like it kept going faster and faster.

I never thought I would say this in the history of my life but I really didn't want school to end. I honestly have no idea what I would even say to Shadow or if he'll even talk to me. Ugh what am I going to do.

This clock is making my stress levels go through the roof. I had seven minutes now to somehow get through this excruciatingly long language arts period, while still managing to figure out where the hell Jax would be and what I'm gonna say. Because I know Jordan and she was not messing around. She'll do it and it'll be a nightmare cause I'll end up freezing quicker then T'challa.

Ugh I'm down to two minutes and I'm shaking my leg so hard my desk is moving.

"Dude chill. What's your deal?" Logan asked me.

"Huh" I looked up from my gaze on the clock. "Nothing I'm just thinking about something. I'm all good though." I replied frantically.

I was down to thirty seconds and I'm pretty sure I was seconds away from spontaneously combusting.

"I don't believe you what's really going on." Logan said staring dead into my soul. God why did all my friends know me so well.

" It's nothing like I said ok. Just drop i..."

Ring

Thank god saved by the bell. "it. I gotta go or Jordan will kill me I'll talk to you later. Bye" I yelled while quickly running out of the classroom so fast that the flash was quaking.

Jordan doesn't know I haven't talked to Jax yet, so maybe if I just leave quick enough I'll avoid her and I'll avoid this whole nightmare of a day.

"Nuh uh uh. Where do you think your going Li?" Jordan said coming out of nowhere right in front of me cutting me off.

"Um home Ive got a lot of um... homework yeh that's it I've gotta lot of homework I need to get started on byeeee" I said trying to leave this conversation as quickly as humanly possible. Jordan moved over right in front of me and stared at me dead in the eyes. God why is she making me do this.

"Did you talk to Shadow" she says raising her eyebrows while staring me down.

"Of course, it went really well yeh really well maybe I'll even talk to him again." She knows I'm lying so why am I still trying.

"Why the fuck you lying? Why you always lying? Mhmmm oh my god stop fucking lying" Jordan said while laughing. God she got me. "But for real he's in the gym and you're either talking to him or I am so let's go" she said while grabbing my arm and pulling me through a group of people in the wrong direction.

There he was just shooting around in the gym. God sometimes I forget how attractive he really is. He's got this messy almost shoulder length hair that's this beautiful dark brown almost black color. He's got these piercing green eyes that looked like the stone was based of them and when you stared at them you could just get lost for hours. His jaw line was so sharp it looked like it was chiseled to perfection. And let's not forget his build he was strong you could tell but he was also like lean almost like he could protect you but not crush you. Also did I mention he was six foot three,like Victoria Justice had it right.He was just becoming more and more perfect the longer I stared at him.

"I see we're liking the view again. So are you ready to go talk to him because if not I certainly will" Jordan said smirking.

"Do I have to?" I pleaded with her.

"Yes now go cause I'm already on my way" She said starting to walk towards the gym doors.

I grabbed her arm and said "Wait no I'm going ugh you're gonna kill me I swear."

"I might but you'll be fine go" Jordan smiling while shoving me forwards.

This was it. This was the moment I was dreading all day and could probably make or brake me and Shadow. Ugh wow am I stressing.

I had finally made it to the door. I was just standing in the doorway not knowing if I could actually step into the gym. Then suddenly Jax turns around and sees me. He's staring hardcore and I'm getting lost in those green eyes but I can't work up the courage to say anything. God how is he doing this to me we've never even had a real conversation and he's already making me nervous. No one makes me nervous like this so why is he.

"Um can I help you" Jax says with this confused look on his face.

"Huh" I say snapping out of my growing thoughts. I have to say something quick to make a conversation. Quick Li think think think. Ah yep I got it. "Um no I was just watching your jump shot. I know why you're struggling with it. It's because you're not following through well enough cause your form is slightly off. " I said trying to act as calm as possible as I was freaking out on the inside.

"Ah I see the princess herself has notes for me. I mean you're not wrong though so I can't hate. I hurt my wrist yesterday, so everything is a little off right now. I'm practicing to try and be ready for our game on Friday, so that way I'm still not 'off' like you said" He said while smirking with a little chuckle.

I had never spoken this much with him before. It was weird but I was liking it he was oddly way more confident when he was by himself. I did notice the wrapping on his wrist just now and wondering how he got it cause he was fine at the game.

"What happened to your wrist" I asked with concern and a slight smile while walking towards him away from the door frame.

"Um" he started appearing as if he was trying to make up some excuse. He then went on to say, "I'm really clumsy and ran into this wall and fell down on my wrist. It's just a sprain though I'll be fine." He said nervously while stuttering a little bit. I didn't believe one word of it but he looked really uncomfortable so I just dropped it.

"So do you play" He said with a smirk, obviously trying to change the subject, while passing the ball to me, which I obviously caught and started dribbling.

"Duh of course I play. Have you met my brothers?"

"Well yah but I mean are you any good" He said while laughing.

"Wow rude I'm offended" I said while laughing and I just smiled and said "Yeh I'm pretty good I like to think." I then threw the ball from the three point line making the shot while getting nothing but net.

"Wow the princess has skills. I honestly expected nothing less but hey let's make it interesting. Let's play a round of pig but every time you miss a shot you have to answer a question" He said while grabbing the ball and smirking.

"You're so on, but hey let's make it even more interesting and say that the loser has to buy the winner food of choice" I said while smirking knowing I had this in the bag.

"You are so on West. May the best shall win. "Jax said with a huge laugh while he bowed really cheesy like and held his hand out to shake with me. I shook his hand and just smirked saying, "May the best shall win Navoa."
