plot/summary: art is a very artistic kid. he's been friends with oliver schermerhorn for as long as they can both remember, aside from them being polar opposites. it's his senior year and they finally have to start deciding what colleges to go to. they end up embarking on a life-changing journey together to the busy streets of new york city.
drama/conflicts: art really wants to go to college with oliver, and oliver really doesn't want to go to college. it causes a lot of arguments between the two.
they're broke and alone in a big city.
police are chasing them because they're minors and they ran away.
