hermione was returning to her dormitory, it was near midnight and nearly everyone at hogwarts was sleeping. she was too lost in thought about luna, and slammed into a wall. "OW!" she stopped thinking about luna and just tried to focus on getting to the gryffindor dormitory. "tapeworm" hermione said in a monotone voice. as the gryffindor dormitory door slammed open. she fell to her bed, not bothering to put on her pijamas and fell asleep with her robes on. the next morning she was awoken by a blue-eyed dirty-blonde-haired luna lovegood. "i've just gotton the news hermione." "wha.." yawned hermione "how did you-" "theres no time to explain, we've got to pack up. that macgonogill expelled us." said luna, cutting off hermione. memories of last night flooded back to her. "oh no.."
they had just finished packing up and were getting ready to leave. hermione, tear stricken, was costantly comforted by luna. "its ok hermione, i never really like hogwarts anyway. too much homework." that made hermione a bit better but still sad.
they were now at the train station. "hermione, where should we go? i dont wanna go back to my old home because i dont wanna get my dad angry.." asked luna "i dont wanna go back either..my parents would kill me!" complained hermione. "maybe we should buy a home.." "how?" asked luna. "i know how to convert galleons into real muggle money. good that i sneaked my wand out of hogwarts and took all my galleons." laughed hermione. "we cant do that on the train, obviously. we'll do that when were back at london." "wow you are really smart.." said luna enviously.
