Hood
I was watchful while walking to Valero, a gas station was were I was going, to refill my supplies. On the way there I felt as if I was being watched. I quickened my pace. When I entered the building Two people entered a few minutes after me. I quickly started gathering my supplies as the two crept down the isles looking for me. Thankfully I was at a large gas station. I was grabbing the last thing, a new pair of cloths, when my fathers men saw me. Reg and Tud, two stupid, tuff, and ambitious, jerks. While gripping a new white shirt and blue jeans I dashed inside the girls restroom. They didn't follow, so I took the time to change. When I was done I got out the cash I stole from my father to pay for the items I got. I went outside the bathroom and saw Reg and Tud blocking my way out. I saw the cashiers hat from behind the isles. I had an idea. Reg crossed his arms. "Your dad wants you home Viven. And me and Tud are going to bring you there." Tud smiled. He moved his jacket so I could see the inside pocket, which held a gun. "Yeah." Tud said. I look past Reg's red hair and equally red beard and wave my hands and yell. "Hey cashier!? Could you help me find something." Tud eyed Reg nervously and Reg glared at me. "Your in for it. We will be waiting for you." He said, then the two turned and left the gas station just as the employee came up to me. "Yes? What do you need?" I looked at the guy. He was scared of me. I shove the money in his hand and leave Valero. When I walk outside, Tud and Reg step out from the dark. Tud points his gun at me. Reg smiles.
"Your dad said we could bring you back dead or alive. Which one are you going to choose?" Reg asked.
Tud put his finger on the trigger.
"Yeah." He said.
I try to look around for a good escape but I find none. It was to dark. But then I see a car coming. A police car. And inside I see the cashier shakily holding a phone and looking at us.
"You can't kill me. My father never said you could. If you do then he will make one of you take my job! And you wouldn't want that would you?" I say.
They start running to grab me, but I was to quick. I ran to the road. I stopped at the edge and waited for just the right time to jump.
The cop car screeched to a stop at the gas station. I jump on top of the car and jump down the other side then run. I heard police officers getting out yelling for me to stop. My leg burned from jumping off the car. I ran through the woods back to the circus. I looked behind me and saw a police man chasing me. While looking behind me I crashed into something and fell. Thunder roared above me. The world spins, I hold my head in my hands.
What did I crash into!
I feel a comforting hand on my shoulder. A charming voice reaches my ears.
"Vivian-I mean, Hood. You got to get up.
I hear voices and footsteps running towards me. Thunder shakes the trees and water falls from the sky. I look up to see who was talking to me.
"Luke?" I say, confused.
He helps me to my feet. I lean on him for support.
"Come on, we have to go!" He said and we started going through the woods to the circus. Water droplets fell hard from above. I was so confused. Were did Luke come from?
I went as fast as I could with my leg crushing my efforts. I hear gun shots fire, but no bullet nears us. Luke quickly looks behind us.
He turns to me. "Why is a cop chasing us? Who fired that gun?" He said.
I keep moving. "We must get to the circus, then I will explain." I say to him.
He hesitates a second then nods and continues towards the circus. I follow him, shouts and fighting die out behind us. I look at Luke.
Why did I bring him into so much danger?

When I saw that Hood had left I went looking for her.
I looked in Julian's training room were Hood's things were, then around the circus.
After that, I didn't know where to go, or look. I felt awful. I regretted kissing Jill.
Did she see? Why is she gone.
I started running. I needed to get away from the circus. I needed Hood. I ran blindly, but I was going towards the nearest gas station. Tears stung my eyes as I ran through the woods. I never wanted to be here. I never asked for this life. I dry my eyes with the back of my hand and slow down. Red and blue lights flash from in between the trees. Yelling was coming from the gas station. I hear running. I look to we're the noise is coming from but all I see is shifting darkness.
"Ahh!"
I fall as the darkness crashed into me. I feel a cape tangled around me. I get up and make out the shape of Hood in the darkness.
Thunder crashed and rain started pouring down. I see a cop not far away searching the forest. I see two men at the gas station with another cop. I look at Hood. She held her head in her hands. I set my hand on her shoulder and get close to her. My heart beats faster.
"Vivian-I mean, Hood. You got to get up." I tell her.
I look up and see that the cop has spotted us and is now running through the woods to us. Fear climbs in my throat as I remember my last encounter with the police. Thunder shakes the ground.
"Luke?" I hear Hood say. I look at her, and for a moment we lock eyes and see each other in a different way.
Lightning strikes.
I blink the rain from my eyes and help Hood up. She leans on me as I help her back to the circus. "Come on, we have to go." I say.
I saw blood from her leg. That's why she isn't running. The rain fell harder. A gun fires some ways behind us. I look back in fear of the worst but it looks like we've gained distance from the men and police. I look at Hood.
"Why is a cop chasing us? Who fired that gun?" I ask confused.
She kept walking.
"We must get to the circus, then I will explain." She said.
I hesitate. Remembering how she didn't trust me, how I kissed Jill. Then I followed her. I wrapped my arm around her and let her lean on me as we went on.
All the way to the circus.
