"what were you staring at in class that got you so in trouble? wow, you're such an idiot" sooyoung bellowed and ruffled my straight hair.
"nothing special, just lost focus" i mustered out, smiling to cover up the lies. she laughed as we continued eating our snacks in the courtyard, watching the passing students head to their cars to call it a day on this friday night.
"yeri, you're going to seulgi's party later, right?" sooyoung asked, taking a bite of her sandwich the second after, her beautiful eyes piercing into my own, and awaiting my response.
"can we stay at your house instead?" i begged, wanting to spend the night with just her and no one else.
"come on, yeri. let's go have some fun for once!" sooyoung nearly choked speaking with the bread in her mouth. "i'll stay by your side the whole night, i promise" she mentioned as my eyes began to glow bright.
"promise?"
"pinky promise"
and we linked our fingers together, kissing each of our thumbs in the process, acting like children making a grand deal.
but i wish that kiss was to her pink, soft lips.
