"What shall it be today?" Rose sighed as she looked into her closet. It had been an hour since she got out of bed, and it had been five minutes since she had started deciding what to wear.
Aftee another five minutes, Rose finally decided on a green sundress that had a daisy print on it, paired with a rosequartz necklace and a small bead bracelet.
Rose hurried down the stairs to the main entrance, and officially opened her café for the day. It was the break of dawn yet she was late to open her store.
"Keema. Keema. Keema you lazy cat, I have your breakfast." Rose called.
A sleek black cat with a green eye and a gold eye slipped around the corner and hopped onto the store counter.
"You only come for food don't ya?" Rose asked as she scratched under Keela's chin. Keela purred and swished her tail.
Ring
The bell above the door rung as the door swung open.
"Mrs. Deb! It's so nice to see you! The early bird as always." Rose came out from behind the counter to hug the fairly aged woman.
Mrs. Deb had long grey hair, braided half way up into a bun. She had on a yellow tanktop and a long, flowey, purple ombre skirt, with some simple black flats.
"Hello darling! I think I'm gonna shake things up a bit today." Mrs. Deb said as she walked up to the counter, "suprise me."
"How is that shaking it up? You always ask for a suprise."
"Well if it's a suprise than it's always different."
Rose playfully rolled her eyes, "You are some thing else."she walked into the kitchen and looked over the goods.
"How about a rasberry muffin."she said to herself.
Rose put a red coloured muffin in a small, brown, paper sack and made the usual order of french vanilla mocha that Mrs. Deb usually ordered.
Rose walked out of the kitchen, "Here ya go Mrs. Deb. It's a rasberry muffin with the usual mocha."
"Thank you dear! I love rasberries. Can'y wait to try it."
Mrs. Deb paid and left to her own little shop, the local green house.
The rest of the day went by quite nicely and soon it was time to close.
"Keema, it's dinner time!" Rose called.
Rose sat Keema's dish on the ground and left to prepair her own dinner.
Keema never came to eat her meal.
