Chapter 1

(Maddison P.O.V)

Kacey: "MADDIE! WAKE UP!"

You: "Give me a minutes." I slept through my alarm. Another day without Zach by my side. Kacey is my best friend. She has been here for me even since Zach became famous with his friends Jack Corbyn, Jonah, and Daniel. But thats ok. He's living a happy life, going on tours, making new songs, and meeting his fans.

Kacey: "Quit bawling over Zach again. He'll be back soon." 

Dad: "Hey Kacey you got her up! Thank you." My dad sat on my bed and hugged me tightly. He knew I was thinking lf Zach.

You: "I miss him."

Dad: "I know you do sweetie. Now you get dressed. I got breakfast ready."

Kacey: "BREAKFAST!!" She ran as fast as she could down stairs. Kacey is a HUGE Goofball. I quickly got dressed and took a photo of it. I thought i looked really nice. I sent it to Zach.

(Texting)

Zach: "Wow 😂 you look pretty fantastic."

You: "Thanks! I tried really hard to find this outfit."

Zach: "I have a surprise for you later."

You: "Really?!? What is it?"

Zach: "I'll tell u later. I'mma send you a selfie since you sent me one 😂."

You: "Lol K!"

Zach: "Jacks feet are in the way."

You: "Lol! I have to go to school ttyl 😘"

Zach: "Ttyl."

(Back) 

I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs. My dad was making pancakes but it looks like Kacey was eating them all. That's Kacey for you!

Kacey: "Oh you wanted some??"

You: "It's fine. I'll pick myself up some Starbucks on the wat to school."

Kacey: "No fair!"

Dad: "It is fair because you ate all the food." My dad was standing in front lf the mirror laughing and fixing his tie. I grabbed my car keys and kissed my dad's cheek. 

You: "Bye dad I love you."

Dad: "Have a good day at school!" Kacey and I got into my car and went to Starbucks! I ordered myself a coffee and headed to school. I'm not looking forward to today because of my teachers. I parked my car and walked inside the school. It was 7:30 a.m. I still had time to kill before I went to class. Kacey was talking to her Boyfriend Josh.

Josh: "Hey Maddie."

You: "Hey."

Kacey: "She's still sad over the whole Zach thing." I kept glancing at the door to see if Zach would walk in. He didn't. It was time for first period. Whoop-ti-do! I hate this block. 

Miss Alexa: "Hi students! Today open your books to chapter 24! We will begin with Kacey reading." I tried not to laugh as Kacey glared at Miss Alexa.

Kacey: "Four score and seven years ago blah blah blah" The whole class laughed. A delivery man walked in the door. Everyone got quiet.

Miss Alexa: "May I help you sir?"

Delivery man: "Ya i'm looking for Maddison Daniels." Miss Alexa pointed right to me. He brought in a huge thing of flowers for me. I was shocked. Kacey looked at me like I was crazy. 

You: "Oh my god these are beautiful! Theres a note!!!" I quickly grabbed the note and it read:

"Hey beautiful thought you would like some flowers to brighten your day! Come out of class at 8:45 and someone will have another surprise for you. 

Love you,

Zach

That was the most beautiful note ever. It was already 8:43. I quickly asked my teacher to use the restroom and so did Kacey. I quickly saw someone walk in and I started crying. It was Zach! I ran up to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back too. The whole gang was behind him. Their bestfriend Kate was too. I've tried to be friends with Kate but it never worked out. 

Zach: "I missed you."

You: "I missed you more." I wrapped my legs around him and he walked me back to class. When he opened the door and the girls screamed.

Girls: "OH MY GOD YOUR ZACH HERRON!!!"

Miss Alexa: "Mr. Herron. What a surprise. Why are you here?"

Zach: "I'm here to tale Maddison Daniels out of class."

Miss Alexa: "I'm sorry you c-"

Jonah: "We already talked to the principle and he said it was ok."

Miss Alexa: "Thats fine." Kacey grabbed my flowers and handed them to Jonah. I wouldn't let go of Zach. After 3 years of him being gone. I never want to let go o him again.
