Accidents Happen

I stared at the clock in my living room. It was slowly ticking. As it ticked my eyes followed. It were as if the clock and I were one, like both gadgets. Too bad that we weren't the same. I began to head up my stairs to play some video games. That's when I realised Tsuki wasn't here yet. Today was her day off and mine, too. I recently got a new job, again.

This time the job was at a frozen yogurt place in the mall just uptown. It was only my day off because someone asked for double shifts. Usually I would have the second shift but, it was worked out for a day off. I am most certainly thankful for that, really. I felt myself begin to fall, and I did. I fell up the stairs.

"Aish!" I yelled my way down.

I also heard a knock at the door. I quickly jumped up and ran down the stairs almost falling again. The rush was already at my heart and in my feet. Whoosh. Out of breath, I open the door to a man dressed in black. He had a Bible in his hand. I didn't shut the door nor did anything disrespectful. I simply waited for him to say something.

"Would you like to talk about Jesus?" he asked.

"Come in." I smiled.

I woke up. It was only a dream. Funny because I haven't dreamed in a while.

"Alright, don't worry." I hear someone speak.

They were at a table near the stand I worked at. Usually I heard tons of conversations everyday. The bad thing is, I get into them and never find out what happens next. What I mean is that they would be saying of how their date will plan to go. I never know if it went well or not.

I went to go grab a cup but we were out. How sad? I went to the back, only to find that my foes that worked here were making out. My jaw dropped wide, this was happening. It was strange at first, he was 26 and she was 16. The girl widened her eyes and we had made eye contact for a moment. Quickly, I grabbed the sack of cups and ran to the front.

I took out the cups and placed them into the container. My hands were shaking from being surprised and scared. Wasn't that kind of illegal since she wasn't 18? This was bad. Should I just quit my job, again, and act like that never happened? What if I get fired for not reporting it? There were cameras in the back that had proof of everything. My mind raced through these little thoughts.

What went through my head the most is that we all are going to get fired. Why would I get fired? Only Heaven knows why.

"Annyeonghayso." a costumer said.

"Oh sorry, what would you like?" I turned to them.

It was actually kind of weird. It was Josh and Yuri. Yuri had her eyes widened at me and Josh's jaw had dropped. I felt like my heart was going jump out of my chest and run. This was the first time that Josh and I had actually ever met in real life so I was a tad excited.  Smiles came across all of our faces. Surely joy, excitement, and mostly surprised. Surprised because this was really out of the usual.
