Wings; large, white with a silver tinge and beautiful sight to behold.
But if you look closer, you will see the scars and missing feathers on these beautiful wings.
Those are punishment for when they try to escape.
There are invisible chains that keeps these wings from flying free.
It's because of these chains that these wings are grounded to the earth and not flying freely in the sky.
These wings that yearn to fly among the clouds to freedom, but they cannot because they are grounded; destined to never feel the freedom and pleasure of flight.
It's not fair they are kept from the sky.
It's not fair that they have to struggle against the bonds that hold them down every day.
These wings that wish to fly freely though the sky with no chains holding them down.
The shy is calling...
But they cannot answer the call because of these chains.
