Okay *claps her hands together* So I know that you people want more chapters from A Shadow Knight and His Princess and The Life Of A Black Rose Princess. But those two fanfics are gonna be on hiatus for longer than ever expected. But I've got new inspiration for this fic, so this one will probably be updated every week or twice a week! So yea, enjoy!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It hurt. It hurt so much, oh why did she have to be so pathetic?

Zaina knew Aaron didn't mean it. He was just so angry about seeing Ein and lashed out, ending up hurting her and Garroth. But at least her brother was going to survive this ordeal. Zaina didn't know if she could deal with this pain... but she didn't want Aaron to blame himself! Or for Aph to be sad. It was her fault for being so weak...She was supposed to be stronger! She was her father's daughter after all! But all she was was a pathetic weakling who couldn't even take a hit or two from an Ultima. Although to be fair, the initial hits didn't hurt her as much, but the hits caused her to collide with a wall that caused her to break several bones and puncture one of her lungs. She was bleeding internally and her breathing was labored. Zaina could distantly hear Aphmau calling out her in anguish, Aaron sobbing/apologizing, her mother crying, and Garte and Derek arguing. Zaina wanted to call out and tell them it wasn't his fault, that it was okay. But she knew it wasn't she wouldn't be okay.

As evidence of this Zaina's eyes started to close and her breathing slowed down, her chest fell at a slower rate and she couldn't feel her fingers anymore. Before her eyes closed for one last time she saw 4 people in her field of vision, although it was blurry. She saw Aphmaus tear-streaked face, her mother's downturned lips with puffy eyes-her hair was a reck, Melissa who seemed to be holding her hand while telling her to hold on, and finally, there was Daniel...the sweetly innocent and annoyingly cute werewolf Daniel. He had such a dead look in his eyes while he had tears rolling down his cheeks while saying something to her softly, Zaina could also see a strong tanned hand on his shoulder which she could assume was Blaze. She coughed roughly, trying to say something to him but her throat contracted and she gurgled as blood surfaced into her mouth. Her eyes filled with tears as the pain subsided along with her ability to feel her body and she quirked her lips into a smile one last time as her eyes slid closed fully. Never to open again.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everything was so soft...Like Zaina was surrounded by fluffy clouds and silk that wrapped around her entire body. It was so heavenly...she could just fall asleep in the softness around her. She started to doze off in the softness before she snapped back into reality. Her eyes flickered open and she seemed as if she was up in the night sky with clouds below her, but she could touch them and the stars seemed to twirl and dance overhead. This couldn't be possible, this couldn't be real! Zaina was for sure she was dead. She died! She shouldn't be able to feel anything at this point. What the name in the name of Irene was going on?!

"Calm down little one." called a voice that seemed so far but it also surrounds her from all sides.  The voice was comforting but...ancient. If that makes any sense, which is probably doesn't at this point.

"W-Who are you?! Where am I? W-W-What is this place?" Zaina questioned hesitantly. She was so confused! "Shouldn't I be dead?"

"You need not know who I am young one at this point in time. As to where you are, you are in limbo. The place between life and death for you, young one, are dead." The voice echoed throughout the entire space. Zaina's body shook as she grabbed her hair in confusion.

"I figured that! But why am I here? Shouldn't I move on? Ascend to the heavens or be pulled down into the depths of the underworld? That kind of stuff?! What am I doing here?!" The newly deceased woman frustratedly asked.

"You are here because you cannot die just yet. You are needed still needed, so you will not face godly judgment. You are also here young one because you don't want to die either. You may have accepted your fate, but you still wanted to cling to your life. And I am here to give you a deal. " Said the ethereal voice in the vast abyss. Now that Zaina could think clearer she could tell that it sounded like a woman but it had two tones. Weirdly comforting but intimidating.

"What kind of deal?" Zaina asked her eyes narrowed, the one-eyed girl getting straight to the point. This whole thing seemed too good to be true.

"I will bring you back to life." Zaina looked excited but realized the voice hadn't finished. "But you will be sent back to the beginning of your high school years. If you accept my offer you will be sent back and will be able to fix the mistakes or stop the motion of the things to come in the future, but you may never tell anyone what you know. If you do your memories will be erased and you will have no memories of the future or any of your friends from the future, and the cogs of time will continue to spin for your friend's fates." The offer presented to her was a dream come true...but the last part seemed impossible.

"Can I at least tell one person? Someone I trust immensely? I don't think I could live with all of that knowledge of the future and keep it all to myself." Zaina pleaded with the voice, rubbing her arms anxiously. The voice 'hm'ed and it made a voice that seemed like it conceded.

"Very well, you may tell one person from any current generation that is alive. You may only tell them certain things other things you will not even be physically able to even speak. BUT! If you speak to any other person besides the one chosen the punishment will be the same as previously said. Now, do you accept my offer?" The voice concluded, waiting for Zainas answer patiently. The dead girl weighed the options of her re-doing her life. Seeing her friends as teenagers, the drama, the laughs, and the...affection she gained. Taking a deep breath Zaina nodded.

"I'll do it. If I can save Aphmau and Aaron the pain that they have suffered in their lives I'll do it." She could do this. She would do this.

"Wise choice my child. I wish you the best and may you succeed in your journey." The voice said kindly as if a mother talking to her child. Zaina saw a light purple and red sparkly cloud surround her and she felt something that could only be described as a woman's hand caress her cheek. The last thing she heard before she was engulfed by the cloud was the voice softly saying " Please be safe young one...and please save me."

Then Zaina knew no more.
