Hi. My names Marissa Allen. I'm the new girl in school. My family moved here last summer and they couldn't put me in school until The Second Semester. I am going to Middle School. I didn't want to move, but my dad got a new job in North Carolina. I am hoping I get some new friends.
Beep Beep Beep Beep
"Honey. Time to wake up. First day of school.", my mom said as she was making breakfast.
"Ok.," I said half awake.
I got dressed in my best clothes and went down stairs. My mom was making my favorite, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and toast.
"Looks good mom.," I said starving.
"Thanks. Here you go." She said, as she handed me breakfast.
I ate my breakfast and got ready for school. I put on make- up, straitened my hair, and put on awesome shoes.
"Bus is going to be here in a minute. Get outside.," My said.
"Ok. Bye. Love you.," I said to my mom as I was running out the door.
"Bye. Love you too. Have fun at school.," My mom said.
I ran onto the bus and everyone was staring at me. Awkward. I find a seat in the front and I sit down. It is all quiet. I hate this. I'm just looking out the front window trying to not say anything.
Then the girl next to me, in the other seat says,"Hi. My names Veronica. What's your name?
"Marissa.," I said.
"Nice to meet you. Want to be friends?," Veronica said.
"Yea. Sure.," I said smiling.
We get to school and I walk in. Veronica leaves because she doesn't want to be late. I try to find someone to show me around, but no one listens to me, except one person.
