As she fell down I barely had the time to check whether there was even a chance of her being alive, when another round of bullets were fired at me. I saw bullets spraying everywhere except on me. It was as if fate wanted me to live. And who was I to disappoint her.
I heard the sound of one of my attackers, pulling the pin of the grenade. I knew that he was going to throw it in less than a second. I stopped where I was and turned around. I saw him angle his arms to throw it a little ahead. I quickly went ahead and built a wall, right about where the grenade was going to land therefore enclosing myself.
Then I inserted a launchpad right where the grenade was going to hit and jumped on it. As my attackers were on top of the Tomato Cafe' I angled myself towards them and in less than a second I was on top of the traditional Tomato of Tomato Town. And the building in front of me was gone.
You see, as my attacker had thrown the grenade, it had landed on the launchpad and rebounded back straight at him. Therefore, blasting the right side of the building up and therefore sending them to where they came from. Or that's what I thought.
The only reason I was still alive was because I had stumbled and fallen down. If I hadn't fallen down, the bullets which had sprayed out from the SCAR (which in other words is a assault rifle . . . only legendary) would have hit me, killing me instantaneously. In other words, a mistake that would(and should)have cost me my life, actually ended up saving it).
I swung around, and at the same time equipped my impulse grenade. As I turned around , I threw my impulse grenade, just as he fired. Two of his bullets hit me. One hit my hand, and the other hit my fatal spot, my legs. Pain shot up through my knees and I felt as if a thousand needles had just pricked me. Still, knowing that the effort could kill me, I got up. I looked around the site to confirm whether or not I had killed all my enemy's. I saw the person I had just impulsed, on the ground with some weapons next to him.
I broke the ceiling and fell down. I winced as I got up again and walked down the stairs. As I came onto the street I saw the weapons in more clarity. There was a green box with the plus sign on it. There was also something that had "meters" written on the side of it. I assumed it was a sniper. And then I saw nothing, but darkness.
