The arrogance in his tone surprised me, even though he was the one who was tied up to a board, and he was the one whos life was in danger. The term team leader meant a lot to me. Especially since my team leader, Norman was dead. He was the worst team leader a person could possibly have. He was weak, and didn't even know how to shoot a gun properly. I think the only reason that he was our team leader, is because everyone felt sorry for him. And that he was willing to sacrifice himself for the team. Like suppose someone was shooting at us. He would jump in front of us and save us, if he had to.(He actually did that once.)

So now the easy part was done. Convincing them to answer my questions. Now the hard part would begin. Asking the questions . . . and hearing the answers.

"I am not going to give you anything, unless you answer all of my questions, and if you don't, I may even take away something, like your life!"

"Okay, okay, we all will answer the questions that you ask us."

"Okay people, first question, what are all of your names?"

"Okay, I am Matthew, the person next to me is James, the girl in our group is Cherox and the person who you shot, is our team leader. . . Xander."

"Do you know how many people are still alive?"

"Yes, we do know how many people are still alive."

"That's impossible! How can you know how many people are still alive?"

"If we tell you how we know how many people are still alive, you will have to let us go."

There were two problems with this proposition. The first one being that I really wanted to kill them right after I had asked them all the questions I had to ask.  And the second being, that I hadn't asked all the questions I had had to ask. . . yet.
