Dedicated to @ShadeandShadows for being the first one to comment and making me laugh with her comment! Love You! It means a lot to me. Here's another chapter like I promised. ENJOY!

Damon's P.O.V
It's been one week and I could not get her out of my mind. I told myself to just get over it, I have seen better people and that she wasn't that pretty but Goddamn this fucking heart doesn't listen. Her chocolaty brown eyes have been haunting me since I met her at the café. I visited the café yesterday just to get a glimpse of her but she was not there. Maybe her shift hadn't started. I'm thinking of going to the café again. God! I sound so desperate.
I called Arianna - my assistant- to get me the files I was supposed to working on. She came all flustered looking and handed me the files. I dismissed her and just as I was opening the file, my phone rang.
"Damon King speaking!" Even though only my friends and family had my personal phone number, I still answered all my calls like this.
"Damon baby, Mommy missed you!" My mother shouted from the other end.
"I missed you too mom" I replied.
"You do? You have to prove it then. I'm having a family dinner tonight and you are supposed to come" Mom explained in a stern voice.
God! No.
"I'm really sorry mom but I can't. You see, I have a meeting tonight..."
"No young man, I made your father check your schedule. I know you are free tonight" I won't forgive Dad for this.
"Alright fine. I'll be there" I said and ended the call. I sighed and started working on files.

I rang the doorbell and fixed my hairs. Mom opened the door.
"Damon! You came!" Mom hugged me. She was a petite lady in her early forties. I got my black hairs from her. Even at this age, she was beautiful as ever. Dad appeared from behind her and hugged me. At the age of 45, he still looked like handsome as ever, with his green eyes and blonde hairs.
He grinned at me and motioned me to come inside. The moment I stepped inside, Khloe's three year old kids came running towards me. I picked Angela in my arms, Lukas grabbed my hands and tried to push me towards the dining hall.
Everyone was present in the dining hall. Khloe with her husband Louis and the kids, Xavier with her fiancée Lucy and me with no one.
I sat in my chair as Mom served everyone. Khloe took Angela from me and Lukas ran towards his favourite uncle Xavier. Mom and Dad sat side by side and gave each other a look.
Something's up.
Dad cleared his throat and began to speak "So Damon, you remember that lecture you all got when you guys turned eighteen?"
I sighed and rolled my eyes "Yeah Dad. I do remember"
"Well....Khloe got married at the age of 21 and Xavier's 20 and he's already engaged but you, my son are going to turn 24 next year and you don't even have a girlfriend. I warned you all that if you didn't find "the one" till you turned 21 then we are going to arrange your wedding. They all listened to me but Damon we gave you 2 more years but you've failed and now you are only child of mine who's going to have an arranged wedding" Dad said the last part excitedly.
I knew this was coming. I and Dad had a big row last week where I told him that I didn't want to get married. He threatened to give "Kings Corporation" to Xavier. I knew Xavier would refuse but if dad forced him....
After all, I was only the CEO. Dad was still the owner. And even though I was the owner's kid, I started off as an ordinary employ at the age of 17 and then worked day and night to achieve this position. Khloe and Xavier also started at the company as an employ but Xavier branched out and joined military and Khloe became a fashion designer. I was the one who was patient enough to work myself off for a company that was technically mine anyway. I actually earned this position. And I couldn't let it go just like that. So I shut up when Dad said that. And whatever, it's not like I have ever had a proper girlfriend.
"Yeah Dad. Do whatever you want. I'm fine with it" I answered him in a bored tone. The moment the words left my mouth, all the women in the room jumped with joy. Xavier laughed as well. I think he was just relieved that he didn't have to be the CEO of the company. Lucy and Khloe immediately started to tell Mom about girls that would be suitable to become "Mrs Damon King".
"Mom, you remember the girl I told you about that day? The one Damon actually complimented? What was her name again, Laurel..." Khloe said and my heart thumped.
"Lily. Her name was Lily" I immediately regret saying that. Now Khloe will get "ideas"
"See mom? He remembers her name! He can't even remember his fling's name sometime and he remembers the name of a girl that only served him in café! He likes her! He definitely like her!" Khloe said triumphantly.

I scratched my neck awkwardly. I don't like her but if someone has to be my bride then......NO! What's wrong with you? She'll be like all of them gold-diggers.
Dad cleared his throat "Ladies, I have already selected Damon's bride."
All heads turned towards him. WHAT?
Mom was the first to recover.
"And who is she David?" She asked cautiously.
"Sasha you know her. Our best friends, William and Gina's daughter." Dad said and immediately my mom gasped and tears came to her eyes. And then I realized who dad was talking about. Aunt Ginny. Mom's best friend. Aunt Ginny and mom were inseparable. They knew each other since elementary school. She spread laughs everywhere she went. I was her favourite kid, she used to say, because she got to name me. She didn't love the others less though. Aunt Ginny used to spoil us rotten. She used to be the ice-breaker if any of us kids had a tiff with mom. I was 14 when she died in a car accident. Mom practically cancelled life for a month after aunt Ginny's death. Xavier was 10 and even he was upset. I and Khloe were crest-fallen. Both of us were really close to Aunt Ginny. She was like our guardian. She knew all of our secrets and problems and tried her best to solve them. Her funeral was the only time I saw Khloe cry. Mom was in shock. She just sat there motionlessly staring at the coffin. Dad was trying to take care of Uncle Will, who looked as if he might die too. And I? I was just staring at Aunt Ginny's daughter, Lily. The girl I had a massive crush on. Aunt Ginny knew about my crush on her daughter and she used to tell me ways to impress her. At the funeral, no one even noticed her. She just sat alone on a bench, crying like there's no tomorrow. I went towards her and sat beside her on the bench.
"It'll be fine. I miss her too, you know. I know it feels like nothing will ever be fine but believe me, one day, it will be. Don't lose hope. And anyway It's not like we have a choice other than hoping" I quietly said quoting Aunt Ginny at the end.
She looked at me with her big brown eyes and hugged me suddenly. She sobbed on my chest and at first I held her awkwardly but after a while I hugged her back and let her sob. She needed someone right now. And I was ready to be that "someone". I never saw her after that day because Uncle William immediately shifted to London. We didn't hear from them again but I'm pretty suspicious that Dad was in touch with them. And now that I think about it. Her eyes resembled "the Lily" so much. What if.....No, no. That cannot happen. Why would Uncle Will's daughter be a waitress? I pushed the thought out of my mind and focused on mom's condition. She had started crying and Khloe was trying to calm her down. This was exactly why Aunt Ginny was not mentioned in our house anymore. After Mom had calmed down, dad cleared his throat once again to get everyone's attention.
"As I was saying, I had promised William that I will take care of her daughter if something ever happened to him. It is time to fulfil my promise. I want to make Lily, his daughter, my daughter-in-law. I do not want to discuss about William. I don't want anyone asking questions regarding his whereabouts. Does anyone have an objection?" Dad asked.
Mom wiped her face one last time and smiled.
"You don't know how happy I am right now. I and Ginny wanted this since the moment Lily was born" Mom grinned.
"It's settled then!" Dad clapped his hands - back to his old self – and laughed.
I wonder what happened to Uncle William?
