Virgil was one of the merman slaves to the king and has gotten use to the poor treatment.
Roman on the other hand was the prince of the under sea village. This is only the beginning.

Virgil was doing laundry like on every other Tuesday he tried to get it done fast so he can have some supper before the King's left overs we're thrown away. He was carrying the huge basket when he bumped into someone. He looked up and he saw the most handsomest face ever, he swore he almost fainted from the sight.
Roman looked down at the person he bumped into and what he saw was the guy of his dreams. Virgil finally realized that he was the prince when he looked closer. He stuttered out," I-i'm s-sorry your hinace." The small merman was terribly frightened. Roman instantly felt bad.
"Hey, it's ok. Here let me help." He helped pick up the dropped clothes and help him take it to the wash room. At first Virgil protested but, he forgot the rules for a second and once he remembered he respected the princes wishes.
Few Months Later
People from the village gathered at the castle including the slaves. Reason why. It was time for the the merman prince to choose whom he is going marry.
Deep down Virgil hoped it was him because since the wash room incident he had taken a small liking towards him. But he kept telling himself that he had no chance. Who would ever want a worthless slave anyway?
Roman already knew whom he was going to pick and he will never change his mind. He swam his way on the stage and yelled,"Attention, everyone I would like to name the person I would like to spend the rest of my life with. So please Virgil Sanders accept the piece of my heart that I give to you for the rest of our lives."
Virgil was red as a tomato but he still answered the one word that everyone wishes they could say.
"Yes."
