Fairy Tail: Frozen Flames

Chapter 12

* 3rdPOV *

All the girls including myself have been turned to stone. Everyone is standing in disbelief, Max looks towards the audience "Evergreen! Everyone please get out of here" he warns them. The audience runs out of the Guild Hall while the Guild Members are waiting to see what will happen.

Lightning strikes right next to Fuyu's stoned body without cracking it. From that same lightning clap appears a blonde-haired man "Laxus!" screams Makarov as he looks at his grandson. Laxus chuckles "don't do anything foolish old man, or the little girls will die" he threatens as he wraps his arounds around Fuyu's neck.

Everyone looks at them "I'll let them go if you relinquish your position as Guild Master and hand it over to me" he spurts cockily as he brushes his fingers against Fuyu's stone cheek. Master Makarov looks at him in distress as he looks into his grandson's cold gaze, the lightning user chuckles as he looks at his grandfather "let's make a game out of this then old man, battle for Fairy Tail, if your Fairies win the girls will be saved, however if you lose...this Guild will be min" he chuckles devilishly at this declaration.

The guild members just stare at him as his Thunder Legion disappear from the stage. Prompting the Guild Members to scatter out of the Guild Hall and into the streets of Magnolia. Master Makarov looks around for Violet since she is the only one that Laxus might listen to. But she was doing an errand and he didn't have to ponder where she was and heads to the Guild entrance but is stopped by an invisible wall.

He stares at entrance "what the...it's an enchantment" he blurts out as he touches the invisible wall. Natsu follows suit but is also stopped by the invisible wall that's when symbols emerge in the air above them. Makarov starts reading "anyone over the age of 80 is not allowed to join in the battle of Fairy Tail" he states to those who are left behind.

Natsu becomes irritated "what the hell, I'm not over eighty" he fumes as he slams his fist into the barrier. Happy and Bianca both sigh and fly out and back in "well It doesn't affect me or Bianca" he proclaims childishly.

Bianca and Happy glide around to find Gajeel chomping down on the metal utensils behind the counter "Gajeel stop eating the silver wear" Happy rants as Gajeel exits from his hiding spot.

Makarov looks at Gajeel "I need you to go take out Laxus" he commands Gajeel. The Iron wielder chuckles and slams his fist in his opened palm. He smiles "I have been waiting to take him out" the Iron Dragon Slayer chatted and heads towards the entrance but was stopped by the enchantment barrier as well.

Natsu looks at the incident dumbfounded "what the hell are you over eighty also!" he bleated out stupidly. Gajeel holds his noise from the impact "do I look over eighty to you flame brain" he grunts in annoyance and anger.

Levy looks at the symbols to see that member numbers are starting to dwindle, while Laxus's thunder legion hasn't lost any members yet. Natsu sighs in annoyance as he walks up to the girls "what are you going to do?" ponders Gajeel as he stares at the idiot fire dragon. Natsu bumps his fists together creating flames I'm going to melt Erza to help us" he affirmed as he starts heating her up.

Cracks start forming on the statue "What the hell are you doing!" gawks Gajeel as Natsu starts freaking out "glue someone get glue" he yelped. Gajeel sighs "use my iron and your fire" Gajeel recommends. The stone that surrounded Erza finally breaks apart freeing her from Evergreen's spell.

Erza sighs "Im hot" her face turns to anger "where you the one trying to cook me?" she questioned Natsu and punches him taking Gajeel along for the ride. Bianca sigh as she looks at Fuyu "how long are you going to stay like that anyhow?" she inquired Fuyu as everyone sees cracks and concrete breaking from her body.

*Fuyu's POV*

I finally was able to get out of Evergreen's statue thing. I brush off the rest of the concrete pieces off my arm and sigh "well that barrier was fun" I groan in annoyance "how did you get out of that, Erza and Fuyu?" wondered Makarov. I look at Erza "well I created a small ice sheet around my eyes, but not sure about Erza" I answered pointing to her.

Makarov sighs in annoyance and disbelief as he looked around while thinking to himself. "I should have never let Violet go on that mission to find Ivan's hideout" Makarov thinks about Laxus. I look at him to feel that he wasn't doing well.

Erza looks at the sky to see a change in the Fairy member count has increased by three. I start thinking "it could have increased due to Erza, myself and maybe another member entering the field. The red head mage chuckles "must be Mystogan who has entered the fray" she sneers.

The sound of explosions and destruction is heard from them Guild Hall, at that moment Makarav looks at me and then Erza "both of you head out and find Evergreen and break this spell" he orders us. He smiles as I bump my fists together "I can't wait to beat up that stupid bimbo" I chuckle as I head towards the entrance with her.

She goes through without any issues, however I hit something solid hurting my nose in the process. Bianca floats downwards to check up on me as I cover my nose "ow" I whine in pain in the meen time Natsu laughs at me, my eyes stare at him with a cold expression making him stop.

Bianca starts thinking "Hey what if Happy and I went out checked on what is happening and return with information" she comments as she tries to come up with ideas. I shake my head in disagreement "No I just got a feeling that there might be similar barriers like the one that's keeps us bound in here" I responded.

Master Makarov agrees with me "Freed is the best in script magic and barriers in the...." He mentions before Master Makarov falls onto the floor without another word. Gajeel, Natsu and I check up on him. I look at the entrance "Red please hurry up and break Evergreens curse" I mumble under my breath worriedly.

Happy, Bianca and I took Makarov to the Infirmary to rest while Natsu and Gajeel are trying to find a way to get out of the barrier. I look around the room to see that Bianca and Happy weren't around, at the same time I hear lots of noises and familiar voices coming from downstairs, I walked down the corridor towards the stairs, to see the other girls moving around like nothing happened.

I ran up to them and hugged them really hard " Fuyu yes we are fine" they tell me calmly. I told them about what happened without leaving out any details.

Everyone sighs "that idiot it isn't the time for him to rebel at his age right now" Cana grumbles in annoyance. That's what Bianca and Happy fly down towards us, I sigh in displeasure "I was wondering where you two went" I inquire here inquisitively. She smiles chuckling "sorry about that but I saw something interesting outside and wanted to check and I don't think it's good" she informs us.

All of us head to the roof top to check what she is talking about. I look up into the sky large orbs surround the entire city "what the hell are those" wonders Bisca as she tries to get a look as well. Cana clicks her tongue in disgust "That's Laxus's Thunder Palace, we have to destroy them before he unleashes it onto the city" she says as Bisca smiles.

Bisca equips one of her long-range sniper rifles and shoots one of them exploding it on the spot. We all cheer until the crackling sounds and a bright light hits the gun wielder making her scream in agony.

Bisca passes out from the shock of that magic "that lightning lacrima must be linked with Body Link Magic" informs Levy as she and the others try to wake up Bisca. I look at the gun user and become iterated, one of the girls takes her to the infirmary to get rest. While everyone else heads back to the common hall to figure out how to escape from our own Guild.

After a while Levy finally dissolves the barrier. Natsu, myself and Gajeel finally leave our prison to find Laxus and take him down.
