Parth shifted a little under the covers and his eyes fluttered open, only to be met with the most beautiful face. He studied the lying figure beside him, unable to decide whether it was a fact or was it only in his mind that she infact looked like an angel while sleeping, in her own world of dreams..."What's the point of watching me while I sleep? It's creepy" Niti said her eyes still shut. Parth had no clue how did she know he was staring.
"It's romantic! Not creepy" Parth said. Suddenly there was a dead weight on top of him. Niti was drumming her fingertips on his chest as he smiled at her.
"Oh it is! How is it that staring at someone while they sleep not creepy but romantic?" Niti asked in a way that she really wanted to know and not with the cockiness she usually did. It could be said that she found it weird, the nice kinda weird that he did that almost everyday. It had become a routine of theirs as Parth had been staying over and everytime Niti thought of it she couldn't fight the smile off her face. They cuddled up together on the bed and went off to sweet slumber in each others arms. The next morning when she would wake up she would always see Parth awake, gazing at her with fondness. She never said anything, just observed until today when couldnt hold it any further. "Tell me how is it romantic?" Niti asked again, still laid on top of him. Parth quickly turned the both of them over, so now he was top, her hands on his chest.
"Like this" he said, his morning voice raspy and husky, as he kissed her on the collarbone right on the hickey that decorated her skin and she shivered under his touch.
"When you get up every morning and see the same face and yet you find it more beautiful each passing day and fall in love with all those features that have been considered flaws by people, all over again-- it is romantic" he said as she looked at him with adoration in her eyes.
"I know I'm irresistibly good looking, but if you keep staring we'll never get to work. So, as much as I was enjoying the attention...we should brush" Parth said cutely.
"Coming Mr. Good Looks" Niti said hopping out of the bed and trailing behind.

"I am seriously thinking of officially hiring you as my cook?"
She said. Parth had made breakfast today. He didn't quite do that. For all the times he's stayed back he's left in the morning, because he obviously needs to get shower well, get ready and stuff... but today he was sitting here, opposite to her on the breakfast table while they ate, together. And he showered in ten minutes today. Exactly! And thats not even one-third of the time he usually spends.Parth chewed on his food as he discreetly eyed Niti. She seemed a bit lost but she did have a smile on her lips so it couldn't have been serious. "Most probably it's me. With what I've been doing all morning. Like I've been really lovey-dovey, more than I usually am, but i'd like to be so much more of that with her. Frankly I have surprised myself, let alone her. I wasn't the affectionate kind, ever, but that changed with this relationship, but this level of investment is new even for the new me. And god knows I didn't try to do it, I just did it."
"The breakfast was amazing" Niti said as Parth kissed her forehead. Evenings were different , she always had his company. But now that she knew what was it like to have him over in the mornings, she could get used to it.
"Is being the offer of becoming your cook still open?" Parth asked while putting the dishes in the sink.
"Hmm, very much. How much will you take?"
"Just a little bit of your heart" Parth said.
"You already have all of it" she replied and for a moment Parth's heart stopped, skipping a beat.
