So This is What Love feels Like?

Cameron's POV

It's been about 2 weeks since I've seen Ella. I've missed her beautiful smile, so that's why I've decided to take her out. I texted her earlier on today and we agreed to go to the fair. I picked her up around 5 and we were off. She's never been to the fair before so why not? The little time we have together, right now, is the time I cherish the most. We are sitting on a rollar coaster, Which she hasn't been on either. So this is her first time. I decided to start out on a chill one and see when she her reaction.

"Cam... I don't know about this.."

"Well, you're already on, so you're gonna have to-" 

The ride started. Ella was screaming hysterically and I couldn't contain my laughter. Once it ended I couldn't stop laughing.

"Not funny." She slapped my arm

"So funny, C'mon let's see the pictures!"

We walked around the whole park, road rides and played some games. I won her a stuffed elephant, which she told me was her favorite animal. 

"Can we maybe go on the Ferris wheel? It's the only thing I've been dying to go on."

I looked at her and smiled "Sure." and we walked off to the Ferris wheel. We waited in line and everyone was telling us to go in front of them, It was when the 3rd person said it, she got annoyed.

"Thanks, but I'm fine. I may not look fine but I am. No need for you to give up your spot in line for me. I'm just like you and everybody else in the world. I'm just dying faster..."

The woman looked shocked and the man well he didn't seem to care. He just kinda pushed the woman forward and said "sorry."

We were on the wheel going up and she was getting a little anxious.

"Ella Moore? The most fearless girl in the world. Are you getting scared?"

"What? No..." i gave her a unbelieving look "Okay, yes.."

"Don't worry, we'll be fine."

I wrapped my arm around her and looked her right into the eyes admiring her presence. Taking in every last bit of her. Her eyes sparkled, her skin glowed and her hair, although she only has very little, moved through the wind. She looked so beautiful in the moon light. It was the perfect moment, with the stars shining down on us in the little two  person cabin (aka ferris wheel chair). I leaned in waiting for her lips to touch mine. She stopped us.

"I'm not ready. I'm sorry."

"It's okay." I lied. It wasn't okay. I wanted her to be mine the moment I laid eyes on her. Something about this girl made me go crazy and I can't handle it.

Ella's POV

It was 8:34pm when I got home. Lilly texted me a little while ago asking if she can come over, of coarse I said yes. Mom was in the living room watching some stupid soap opera.

"Hey mom I'm home."

"Hey honey, how was it?"

"Great. Can um Lilly come over?" I knew it was gonna be a yes. I mean for heaven sakes I'm dying here.

"Sure"

"Thanks mom!" and with that I ran up stairs

"And you denied it, Just like that?" Lilly said shocked about me denying Cameron's kiss.

We were sitting on the roof passing a joint between us. Number 2. Drugs. Check! It seemed to make me very carefree and stuff but I didn't like the taste of it. It wasn't my thing. 

"Yeah, I just.. I don't know. I wasn't ready I guess?"

"You've been waiting for this all your life and now you say your not ready? That's insane."

"Yeah I know. But the greatest people are." I said with a smirk

"True. Your one of the greatest people ever."

"Thanks."

"Now let's finish this weed and go inside, I'm freezing!"

I chuckled at her ridiculosness and said "okay."
