Seven deadly sins - BTS

Prologue

Rightyo, before we start, I just want to explain that all the emotions mentioned in this are names. Like the sins have personalities, the other feelings/ human traits are 'people'. 😂 Have fun reading

The large room was bathed only by the yellow glow of unnatural lighting.  Shadows pooled over the unrecognisable faces of the men and women that made up the high council.  They had been sat in rows debating for what seemed like hours.

"They are an unnecessary flaw in the makeup of the human emotion system!" the high chairman, responsibility, stated. "Although they haven't done anything wrong, they are the worst traits made for humans, and we've been assessing their position for thousands of years."

"Can't we just demote them instead of banish them?" asked Compassion, and tinge of uncertainty making it's way into her voice.
"No, Responsibility is right. These emotions have never benefited the high council and really should have been exiled a long time ago. " said Honesty severely from across the room.

The traits the high council were debating had been excluded from this meeting, like many others before. Gluttony, Greed, Pride, Lust, Wrath, Envy and Sloth.

The seven emotions knew that the others belittled them and wished for their disappearance. They were treated with almost hostility by the other council members.  Over the years, this had brought them closer until they would even consider each other friends.

The fact that they hadn't been envited to this meeting hadn't gone unnoticed by the seven. They knew that this was probably their last night in the council Palace and were having their own meeting while awaiting their imminent banishment or what ever the council decided.
"How can they get rid of us, they need us", exclaimed Pride angrily.  "They can't just banish seven whole emotions, they don't know what this could even do to the damn humans!"
All seven looked down, worry filling their minds.  They had known this day would come eventually.

In the council chamber, all hell had broken loose.
"vile" screamed joy.
"No, they're poisonous" called out another member. All was hushed when love stood up and said "they're deadly"
A chorus of agreement broke out as the council tried to come up with a name for the emotions.
"the seven deadly traits" "The seven deadly emotions" "The seven deadly feelings"
"It doesn't matter what we call them!" Responsibility shouted "We will banish them tonight to the human world, they will be gone by sunrise."
The room was filled with murmurs of agreement.  The court began debating which decade to send them to. Many voted for the 1700s, but in the end they decided to exile them to the year 2020.
Exile wasn't a common occurrence in the high council, in fact, this would be the first official banishment. The court had decided that the 7 emotions would have their memories wiped then be cast into the mortal realm. This was the worst punishment that could be inflicted onto a member of the high council.
The high chairman stood up and declared that it was time to bring justice.
"Go and collect them" he ordered "The seven deadly sins."
