1 ~ Everyday Is The Same, Kinda

Yoongi awoke to the sound of his alarm going off in his ear and groaned.  It was a Monday.  Another boring week at the stupid cafe where he got paid minimum wage to do the most mundane tasks...
Sighing, he rolled out of bed and lumbered towards his bathroom. One might say he resembled a sloth or some other animal, preferring to sleep all day and look like a bedraggled ball, but Yoongi couldn't give a shit about what he looked like at quarter past six in the morning. He needed his rest and as far as he was concerned, the only thing this job was doing was depriving him of it. It barely paid enough to cover the bills. He shivered at the thought of having to get another job, or maybe it was cold getting to his bare torso.  Heating bills weren't cheap after all...

Pulling a comb though his tangled hair, Yoongi sat on the edge of his wicker washing basket.
"Aish!" he whimpered as it got caught on a knot. He didn't understand why, but he felt a strong urge to look good today, so for once he actually tried styling his light blue hair. He was disappointed with the fact his once electric blue hair had faded to an almost white pale blue. Maybe he could try to do something new to it sometime.
The coffee shop had been annoyed when he had first dyed it a year ago, but they soon realised that it suited Yoongi very well and brought in more customers. Therefore they let it slide. He had half hoped that he'd be fired for it, but it was to no avail.

After yanking on some ripped skinny jeans and a baggy hoodie, Yoongi grabbed his car keys and left his small apartment. His car was and old kia spectre that could barely get him to work and back, but it was all he could afford. He tried to think back to when he bought the car, but he couldn't remember much before two years ago. His childhood was a complete blur, and he only vaguely remembered graduating from college. He blamed it on his bad memory.

Pulling into the staff car park, he cuts the engine a mooches towards the cafe's entrance. He grabs an apple out of the fruit container and sits behind the counter. It was ten minutes before opening.  This meant that it was ten minutes before the morning wave of office workers and businesses men rushed into the little cafe before heading off to whatever well payed job they had. He sighed into his hands and rubbed his eyes. Gosh he was tired.

He mentally thanked whoever had the late shift last night as they had left the chairs down and had mopped the floor. This meant all he had to do was open the doors. Preparing himself for the upcoming rush, he turned on the coffee machine. The backdoor clicked signalling the arrival of his coworker Lisa.
"Morning, Yoongi!" she chimed, tying an apron around her waist. "Sleep well?"
"Not as long as I'd hoped, but I'll make do" he gave her a small smile. Lisa walked over to the door and unlocked it. The first customer walked in shortly after and ordered a black coffee with two sugars. Yoongi looked over to Lisa and gave a quick thumbs up, both bracing for the next thirty minutes.
---
Lunch time came around, which was a relief to Yoongi as the shop was usually quiet at this hour.
"I'm just going to grab some lunch" Lisa called out to him as she practically ran out of the cafe. Yoongi new the drill. Lisa's lunch break was only twenty minutes, but she normally came back an hour later with something for him to eat, so he never complained.

Yoongi had his head on the counter and was dozing off when a cold breeze entered the shop, meaning a customer was here. Looking up, Yoongi was surprised to see a guy who looked around his age. It was normally only teenage girls or old people who came in at this time of day. Yet nonetheless, Yoongi gave the man a small smile.
"How may I help?" he asked.
"Can I have a medium latte, please" the guy gave him a bright smile and handed Yoongi the money.  Yoongi couldn't help but notice how bright the man's eyes seemed to shine compared to his own, tired and bloodshot ones.
"Here's your change, it'll be one moment. Was it to stay or take away?"
"Stay." the man said.

Yoongi reached for a mug and contemplated the man he just served. Usually he didn't find customers attractive, yet this man had an odd appeal. His fluffy brown hair sat dishevelled on his head and his long legs fit wonderfully into his jeans. Overall he had a lean body but he was defined. Yoongi found the man pretty attractive, then blushed profusely at what he had just thought.  Also, the man seemed strangely familiar, like a person he once knew. 'Maybe we were lovers in the past life' Yoongi though to himself, snickering at the idea. He shook his head and placed the latte on a tray to bring it over to the table where the man was currently sitting.

Placing the tray on the table, Yoongi smiled at the guy and said
"Enjoy your drink!"
Before he could turn to leave, the man gave him a funny look and asked,
"Do I know you from somewhere?"
"I don't think so" Yoongi smiled, "but you do look extremely familiar"
Both men chuckle slightly and a contagious smile spread from the guy to Yoongi.
"I'm Hoseok" the man said "if you're not too busy with the shop, it'd be nice if you could join me for a bit" he patted the table in front of his drink.
" I think I'd like that" He replied "my name is Yoongi"
---
The boys chatted for a while about completely random things and slowly Yoongi realised he liked Hoseok quite a lot.  He couldn't get enough of that beautiful smile and the aura that surrounded him seamed so... familiar.

Lisa still hadn't returned from lunch, and Yoongi's shift was almost over.
"It has been wonderful talking to you, Yoongi. But I actually have to get home now" Hoseok smiled brightly at him. "Could I perhaps get your number so maybe we can hang out again some time?"
Yoongi reached for a napkin and pulled a pen from his pocked, scribbling the digits onto it.

Hoseok stuck out his hand for Yoongi to shake and smiled. As Yoongi connected his hand with the others a sharp pain spread though his head. His vision went blurry and images flashed though his mind. A dark room.  People sat in rows their faces shrouded in shadow. He saw another image.  It showed a group of boys alone in a room. Feelings flooded through him; things he'd never felt before. At the end of it all, five words flashed in his mind.

I am the Sloth sin.

What did this mean? His vision came Back to him, and he snapped his hand away from Hoseoks. Hoseok also had an equally perplexed look on his face. He took a step away from Yoongi and shook his head.
"What the fuck was that?"
