Stick Devils

Red Mornings.

Star woke up, feeling a bit dazed due to last night. She got out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. She ate some waffles, then she went outside. Outside, she saw her bestest stick friend, Stary. Seeing her smile made Star smile. She then looked to the left, and saw that it was sunrise. It looked as beautiful as ever, as Star felt it's warm rays on her lines. She continued to stare at it, as she thought it was beautiful. Seconds later, the sun glowed red, and the sky was a blood red. She then became terrified and tried to look away, but it seemed her view was focused on the sun. Then, she saw a mysterious figure in the sun, with a crescent shaped head.
"Come with me," a voice echoed.
"Wh-wh-what?" Star replied.
"Come on, i know you want to."
"No i dont, i dont know who you are."
"You know who i am, you know you want to come with me. After all, you are one of us."
"WHAT?"
"Hello? Hello? Hello-o?"
She shook her head with her eyes closed, and when she opened them, everything was normal.
"Hello?"
She looked right, and saw her friend, stary.
"You kinda zoned out for a bit. Are you ok?"
"Yeah, im fine. Just got too attached to the sunset."
She looked left again, and saw that the sun was fully up.
"Really? You were looking at it for a hour. Are you sure you are ok?"
"Yeah, im fine. Im sure of it."
Though, she was shocked to hear that she was staring for an hour. Come to think of that moment,her eyes felt quite dry...
"Well lets go then! We have to catch up on an hour of events!"
Stary ran, holding star's arm. Star was still confused by that event that occured with her staring at the sun, but she knew everything would be fine. Her shadow however, had a crescent shaped head, and she never noticed. The shadow then stopped following, leaving her shadow to follow Star. The shadow then spoke:
"Still think that this is all fake? Huh. Think that you are smart. Well, what you dont know and you are about to know, is that you are one of us."
