Stick Devils

she's gone.

stary's POV:

i have cleared my corridor of demons and devils. we all agreed to meet back in the middle once we were done, so i went back to the middle, and soon enough, the 2 other soldiers came. however, star didnt come. i was sure she would be done by now. 

"where is she? im sure she would be done by now."

"calm down mister, im sure she is still in her corridor, fighting."

"the north corridor is empty. she cleared it."

"huh, that's weird. isnt there footage somewhere?"

"yeah, we put alot of security cameras in every corridor, and the footage is on this phone."

"how did you do that?"

"oh, this is just a phone i stole from the boss, he programmed it."

"oh...kay? just play the footage in the north corridor."

the guard played the footage, and i peered over him. i saw star battling some of the demons, looking fine. she then got cornered into a dead end, and she defeated them flawlessly.

and thats when it all started to get intense.

shadows came, and she seemed to be pointing her gun at something  little while later. i start to notice faintly that there is a red figure with a cresent head. i saw it faintly though. she looked as if she was confronting it, then she dropped her gun, and fell to the ground. she was stuttering quite alot, then she collapsed. the guy snapped his fingers, i think? then her lines became purple, and she had horns along with wings and a flame like tail. i was horrified and worried, then the feed ended. the guard soon looked at me.

"ok, i think your friend is crazy."

"what? no! there was a demon there! you just cannot see it!"

"it was clear, nobody knew what she was doing."

"she said you saw them earlier!"

"we can only see the spirits. we cannot see actual devils. so we cannot confirm it was a devil."

"it was! dont you-"

we heard a rumble. we look towards the north corridor, and we see a purple figure like the one on the feed. it also had the bangs, just like star and i did. i look beside it, and i see the red figure, but slightly better.

"IT'S A DEMON! KILL IT!"

the soldiers start shooting it, but it had no effect. it started to roar like crazy.

"OH NO! IT HAS NO EFFECT! REPEAT! NO EFFECT! RETREAT!"

both of the soldiers soon retreated, and went up the elevator. wow, they didn't bother for me. i look up at the eyes of the demon. i still see something on the inside, but im not sure what it is. but it must be her.
