Chapter 3: Groups
As we walked back into the main room, we stopped and gasped, how many people could fit in one room? I swear that there were about 50 more creatures in here plus the room looked bigger. Cool. I wish my room could change its size, but no, it stays the same small size.
"Come sit down girls." Babit pointed toward the four empty chairs around his. "Everyone in your seats, now!" He called to everyone in the room.
It fell silent instantly and everyone sat and looked pointedly at my sisters and me, obviously waiting for us to start this meeting. We stared at Babit for help, he sighed and stood up.
"Everyone, the prophecy is about to come true... the girls have arrived and the only thing can stop us now is, well... Nothing." He roared to everyone in the room. Everyone cheered and clapped.
"Now please go into your groups of attack and if you don't know which group you are in please stand behind me." As soon as he finished everyone got up and sorted in five groups. We just stood behind Babit looking lost and out of place.
"Ok Marie you are in the back group for your healing skill and you are a good backup fighter." He told the girl that did our hair and makeup. "Now Monique you are in the left front group you have a great advantage with your mind-reading so you will be the second group to run in." He pointed toward the group closest to the door. "Some one will explain everything once you join it," He told all of us. "Rebecca you will be with Veronica in the leading group your extra smartness will go great with her seeing things like the future, you will lead us there and then fall back." He pointed to the smallest group that was all smiles toward us in the other corner.
"Bye," I said and kissed her in the forehead, knowing cause of some freaky twin thing both of them will receive it or something like that.
"Now you are in the same group as me." Babit told me. "We take the lead once we are lead safely to the castle and all there is between us and being victorias against the Witch Queen," He said making a face. "Is a door and a bridge, ok?" He asked me.
"Yep sure I get it," Trying to not sound as confused.
"Come here lets go look at the plans with the rest of the group." He said knowing I was faking; darn I can never lie properly.
"Everyone this is Emma, she is going to help us claim victory against the Queen!" He roared lightly to everyone in my group. Everyone was very muscly or disturbing with like claws or sword thingy's, I felt a bit left out.
"Hello, I am Aria." Said one nice lady who, like me, looked a bit left out in this group and was also the only other girl. "I am in this group to help you and cause I can fend for myself in a fight with Karate plus my skin can sometimes be dangerous to touch." She smiled at me.
"Hey,' I replied. "Um..." I hesitated. "What are you?" I asked.
She just laughed.
"No offence," I said quickly.
"None taken, I am a human, in a sense, but I have horns and pixie ears ,as you have already noticed, plus my skin can be poisonous when I want it to be, my mum taught it to me." She sighed.
"What's wrong?" I asked he nicely, we were friends right.
"The Queens army burnt down my village when I was 12 and killed my parent's right in front of me; lucky I had my poisonous touch otherwise I wouldn't be here right now..." She trailed of remembering that bad time of her childhood.
"How horrible, I'm sorry." I hesitated and hugged her, no shock or poison that's good.
"Yeah it was, that is why I am here to see you and your sisters destroy the Queen and her evilness." She replied.
