Part 2: 19 years later

Jen's P.O.V

"Jen wake up!" My brother yelled. I groaned, I don't want to get up. "Just a few more minutes... zzz." "Jennifer! Wake up now!" He yelled again. "Fine... I'm up, I'm up..." I sat on my bed, rubbing my eyes. I looked around my room. My room was bland, yellow flowers painted on the walls, fur padding on the floor. I quickly putted on padded jeans and a brown, leather jacket and a pink colored shirt. I walked downstairs and made myself breakfast. After eating, I walked out to the patio, staring at the creation we've made. There was a huge, metallic panel wall, about 50 feet above and guards wearing full metal armor, a military center for soldiers and people training to become one . There was everything that we needed to survive animals, crops, water, shelters, and protection. At the center, there was a 30 foot statue of my dad. Dad... he died 5 years ago. He tried to get resources for our people... but "The Beast" killed him .... because of me. 

~~~~~~~~~~Flashback ~~~~~~~~~~~~

*Gunshot* Gunshot* Gunshot* *roars*

"Damn it! I need more bullets! " Dad hollered. "Jen! I need more bullets!" "Ok!" I quickly looked inside my bag and found some. *Roars* "AHH!" I quickly ducked my head, the fireball shot over my head. "Here!" I threw it at him, "Got it! Thanks!" "Men spread out!" My father yelled. 50 guards formed a circle around "The Beast" including my dad. They threw chains around "The Beast" and tried to hold it down, but failed. "The Beast" roared and flew away, in a spilt second he quickly turned around and was circling around me. My dad and the guards sprinted towards me but "The Beast" flapped his wings, knocking them all down.

Dad yelled, "Shoot it!" Panicking, I quickly pulled out my pistol, shaking while holding it. I felt sweat running down my face, my feet felt like jello and I just stood there, helpless. He roared, making me drop my pistol. I tried to pick up the gun but "The Beast's" wings pushed me back. I looked at his eyes... I was in a trance... I felt dizzy and saw something glowing inside "The Beast" mouth... it was a fireball. Before he could shoot it at me, my dad instantly got up and pushed me away in time. He tried to get away from the explosion...

The smoke was clearing... faint roars was heard in the west... "Dad?.." "Dad?..." DAD?.." "Where are you? DAD!" I walked around the area, searching for him. My eyes widened of shock and fear. His was laying on his side, concrete was on top of him, blood was showing, his head was inside of the concrete chunks. "DAD!!!"

Tears started to form in my eyes. "Dad... I'm sorry." "Jen? Are you here?" My brother called. I ran to the bathroom, washing my face making sure that it looked like I wasn't crying. *Knocks* "Jen? Are you in here?" "Yeah... Why?" "Hurry up and meet me at the center of town ok?" "Alright." 

A few minutes later...

I walked around the village getting distracted, like always. Many people were having the time of their lives. Little boys play with wooden swords, girls playing near the fountain, the guards strolling through the streets, watching to make sure everything is alright. "Jen! Over here!" I looked behind and saw my brother. I ran at him, "Bob? Where were you? I was looking everywhere for you." "Um correction. I was looking for YOU and YOU were getting distracted... AGAIN." I playfully punched his arm, "Shut up, where are we going and why?" We started walking  and he said, "I told you to meet me here because I can talk to you. Were actually heading to front of the gate because there is a group of survivalists and I accepted them to join the military. They call themselves, "The real apocalypse" or was it, "Best Not To Mess" I dunno I forgot." I stopped walking and said, "Wait. Wait. Wait. You're telling me YOU accepted a group of PEOPLE that we DON'T KNOW into the town and we don't know if their raiders?" "Jen calm down! There outside of the gates and guards are watching them right now. Besides, right now we should hear shooting right about now." I sighed. "Ok fine but it's your fault if they steal resources or guns and start disappearing next month." "Fine ok... RACE YOU TO THE FRONT!!" He said, sprinting off. I stared at him, shocked shaking my head and hollered, "HEY YOU CHEATED!!! IM GOING TO GET YOU!" I sprinted after him, while laughing. We both laughed and ran to the front.

I'm so sorry that I didn't posted it sooner! I was at school please  forgive me!! (qwq)  Anyways I hoped you enjoy that chapter and I will post a other one on Wednesday at maybe 3:20 p.m or sooner because of school. I promise you all. ^^ Oh!
