Chapter 6: Unexpected Events

Pat's P.O.V

"We are so CLOSE. I can feel it...I-" *snore* "Ugh... Mmm" I glanced up, slightly smiling. Jen, was knocked out and snoring lightly. She kept moving in her sleep which was cute. Her arms were wrapped around my shoulders and neck. Her head was tucked and was on my back. We kept moving, I took off my helmet, shaking my hair. I shuffled and moved her head on top of my head, putting my helmet on her head.

"She looks Cute... I mean...Nevermind..." It was already night, thank goodness there's no mobs yet. "We just needed 2 more miles. Ugh. But if we go to the secret, I could get a head start and arrive early." I walked towards the woods.

My eyes glowed to guide me in the dark and infront of me was a bolder. I extended my hand towards it and a glowing,blue arua surrounded us. Before walking in, I heard groaning noises, and shuffling. I looked behind me Jen, started to whimper and started shivering. I quickly realize why. Coldness.

I settle her down, softly and took off my cape and draped it over her. We shadow knights don't get cold easy. We just wear it for protection and to be normal. I picked her up again and walked in and looked her. Since we produce heatness she instantly stopped shivering and tucked her head behind my back.

I smiled and continued to walk fowards. The rock started to split apart and I walked in. It was a hideout that I found a few months back. It had a bed, torches, two chest filled of food and water and the other one had wood, tools. In the back, was a food garden. I made it because it feels like, time stopped and began to be normal. In the center of the room was a crystal hanging from the ceiling, sparking from the moonlight. I come here often, to get away from people and let the stress drain out of me. "Pat...." I turned around, only to be faced to Jen.

Jen's P.O.V

"GoodMorning!... Or Goodnight? Its still night-time." He said, smiling. "Pat... Where are we?" I said, glazing around the room. "Oh! Your at my secret hideout!" He said, happy. Oh wait! Here! I was placed on his bed,  gently and he ran towards the wall, grabbed a torch and lighted the fire place.

"Ahh... There much better!" He exclaimed, rubbing his hands together. "Jen, you can look around. I don't mind at all. I smiled and said "Thank you" and  I stood up, roaming the area I was in. I saw a chest and I carefully opened it and to be awed even more. There were stacks and stacks of resources. (wood, cobblestone, ore, tools etc.)

I was awed by the things he gathered and I quickly headed towards a room. "Is this a kitchen? " I wondered, out loud as I gazed around. It was large room with two crystal lights with blue tile counter tops and a white fridge with a oven next to the furnace and more chests.

"Jen... Want to see something cool?" spoke Pat, leaning on the doorway frame. I slowly nodded and walked with him. He walked ahead of me, broke out in running... towards the wall. "Pat wait! Watch out!" I yelled, stopping and covered my eyes and waited for crashing... Nothing.

I carefully opened my eyes... He vanished. "Pat?" I said, echoes surrounded the room. "Pat?..." I said again, louder. I walked towards the wall, inspecting the wall for hidden clues. "I feel like an idiot. Just staring stupidly at the wall. "
