Summer Job {Showki || Shownu+Kihyun}

Ch.3

"So, what are you two playing?" Kihyun asked as he sat down on the floor. His legs criss-cross.

"Jurassic Park!" Jooheon beemed.

Changkyun made a tsk noise as he frowned. "Jurassic World not Jurassic Park", he protested making sure to say the world part especially loud.

Jooheon visibly pouted, "Jurassic Park is better." He said staring at the dinosaurs that laid out before them. Changkyun fake laughed before mumbling out a big fat no.

Trying to prevent what looked like jooheon about to bawl kihyun rubbed the little boys back. "It's ok I think Jurassic Park is cool!"

Jooheon peeked up through his lashes, "really?" to which kihyun furiously nodded. The gesture seemed to annoy Changkyun, but the boy didn't say anything.

Soon all three began playing with the dinosaurs. In time it somehow morphed to kihyun becoming a dinosaur who happened to be jooheons pet before Changkyun decided he needed to be "killed before he eats everyone". This left a rather upset jooheon at first as he fought to protect kihyuns honor. The boys battled with their toy lightsabers until Changkyun was victorious. As jooheon laid on the floor fake dead kihyun couldn't help but gulp as the other brother walked towards him with menacing steps. These kids could be actors he thought to himself.

Once in front of the crouching-on-all-fours kihyun the little boy raised his lightsaber. He rose it until the rounded tip was completely upside down. In that moment kihyun noticed jooheon get up. "Help me!" He shouted, but it was to late. In that moment Ki-Dinosaur was slain. Falling dramatically to the floor he shriveled up before he ultimately laid frozen. Jooheon laughed and Changkyun smirked. While on the ground kihyun peeked an eye open to see the time on the clock.

8:30 PM

Oh shit. He thought to himself, they need to start cleaning up. The boys bedtime is at nine and the house currently is a mess. Toys scattered everywhere in the living room. A small trail of toys in the hall from their bedroom. Probably toys that got dropped on their journey. There was even a small amount of dishes mainly three cups and bowl from when they snacked on some chips. To make matters worse shownu will also be home at nine. What will he think of him leaving the house in this shape and not have everything taken care of? Will he think kihyun isn't a mature responsible person? Worse will he fire him!? Yeah, sure, kihyun originally wasn't too thrilled to be babysitting these kids, but they're actually pretty cute. Well...jooheon anyway. Changkyun is still giving him some stand off-ish vibes.

Kihyun shot up, "Boys hurry we need to clean!" he shouted as he quickly gathered a handful of toys.

"I don't like cleaning!" Changkyun hollered and jooheon completely ignored what Kihyun had said. Going in one ear and out the other.

"But we need to or else your dad will be upset. We can't have your dad coming home to a dirty place, do we?" Kihyun said trying to convince the little boy. He paced back and forth with toys to and from the little boys bedroom. Along the way he caught jooheons attention and signaled for him to start cleaning. Thankfully he was more willing to help.

"I don't care." Changkyun muttered as he stood arms crossed in front of his chest.

"How about whoever picks up the toys the fastest wins?" Maybe making this a competition will make make the little boy help. To no avail, Changkyun just sneered and continue to stand his ground.

With his patience running thin and his ideas being no help kihyun choose to just let the boy be. He and jooheon soon had most of the toys picked up and organized. Looking at the clock he had 15 minutes until nine. "Heony, pick up what's left I need to wash dishes. Can you do that for me?" He asked and the little boy nodded enthusiastically.

Running off Kihyun quickly washed the few dishes. After he was done he made sure to wipe off the counters. Once back in the living he noticed the boys were already changed into their pajamas. "Oh" kihyun said aloud although more to himself.

"Kyun said to change and brush our teeth!" Jooheon beemed and his brother pushed him.

"No I didn't!" Changkyun yelled before running off to his room leaving a confused jooheon. Kihyun smiled to himself. Maybe he felt bad for not helping earlier?

Once the boys were tucked in, nightlight turned on, kihyun told them a whispered goodnight and goodbye as he shut the door. In the midst jooheon shouted a "I love you" before he snuggled into his blankets. Kihyun couldn't help but chuckle and say the same. Catching a quick glance at Changkyun the little boy glared at him before turning around. The door shut with a faint click and kihyun sighed. Mission complete.

Right on the dot the front door could be heard being unlocked. Soon footsteps as well. Walking to the front door Kihyun was met with Shownu. He looked tired, but that's to be expected from a long day's work. "Hey, welcome back." Kihyun smiled, "The boys just laid down."

Shownu nodded, "Thank you, how was everything?"

"Oh, everything was fine we played majority of the time. The boys were great!" He replied choosing to leave out the fact Changkyun was a bit difficult. The boy may just need time to warm up to him.

"Great" shownu smiled as he reached his hand into his pocket. "Here, today's pay." He said holding out four ten dollar bills.

Kihyun took it shyly, he's always been awkward when it comes to receiving something. Doesn't matter if it's a gift or earned. "Thanks...well I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." Kihyun said as he put his shoes on.

"No problem, see you tomorrow." Shownu replied as he held the front door open for the teen. Making sure to flick the porch light off so no bugs attack him on the way out.

When kihyun made it to his own driveway shownu walked back in his house. As he shut the door kihyun could hear him yawn. Kihyuns mouth twitched, cute.
