Chapter Seven

Liam’s POV

Everyone slept on the floor besides Cher and me. I snuggled myself into her bed. Whatever was wrong with her worried me. It seemed like she had a nightmare. ‘But what was it about?’ I thought to myself. As I leaned back into a pillow, my thoughts swarmed around in my head, making it impossible to sleep. I looked at the floor and saw that almost every single person was sleeping in an extremely awkward position.

Niall was sleeping on his stomach with his arms laying flat by his side. He looked like he was planking, except in sleeping form. Whatever, it was hard to explain. Next, I examined Harry. He was half lying on Brooke and half lying on Zayn. It was just weird.

Hannah was lying on her back, but she had her arms crossed over her chest like an angel. Spencer was beside her. She was also lying on her back, but her left arm was underneath her body and her right arm was flung over her head. Her mouth was wide open and I could hear her snoring.

Lastly, I looked at Louis. Honestly I don’t even know how anyone could sleep like him. He was lying on his face with his bum stuck up in the air. His arms lay limply across the floor beside him.

I chuckled to myself. I turned my head to look at Cher, who looked quite beautiful when she was sleeping. Her hair was strung out across her face. I moved it out of the way and looked at her angelic face. She looked peaceful. I just hoped she wouldn’t have another nightmare or whatever like she did before. She breathed out quietly through her nose and shifted a little bit. She turned over so that she was lying on her stomach. A few minutes later, she turned on her side so that she was facing me.

Cher made whimpering noises, so I shook her awake. She looked very tired.

“Are you okay?” I asked her.

She just nodded. She yawned and stretched.

“Just look at them,” She slurred as she pointed to the awkward sleeping bodies on the floor.

“I know, they look right mad, don’t they?” I said as I laughed.

“Why aren’t you asleep?” Cher croaked.

“I can’t go to sleep. I’ve got a lot on my mind,” I answered honestly.

‘Yeah, she’s on your mind,’ My conscience said.

‘Shut up,’ I retorted.

‘MAKE ME.’

‘I’m going mad. I’m talking to myself!’

“I’m really tired, but I’m scared to go to sleep. I keep having this…” Cher stopped herself before she said too much.
