Chapter 3: A

Author's P.O.V.

After the game, (which they won) Jungkook was called by his coach on his office together with two unfamiliar men wearing suits.. Jimin was calling him from his seat, yet the latter didn't spare a glance on him.. He told Taehyung that he'll just going to the restroom, but his mere reason to leave is to follow his boyfriend on the coach's office..

When he came infront of its unlocked door, his smile faltered after hearing their conversation..

'We are so lucky that you, Mr. Jeon accepted our full scholarship in Boston.. It was a good choice indeed, considering that your skills are way better than the other kids on your age..'

'Thank you for the support sir.. I promise to do my best and make you proud the whole time I'm with you..' Jungkook bowed and smiled at the two who's now talking to his coach.

Jimin covered his mouth as he heard the unexpected news.. He didn't even expect that to happen.. So this is what Jungkook will tell him later that evening.. Maybe he wanted to leave Jimin from the very beginning due to the fact that Jimin can't afford to study abroad.. Maybe Jungkook was waiting for the right time to tell him about this and tonight is the best time for the confrontation..

He stepped backward and avoid the chances of him getting caught by his boyfriend, yet his luck wasn't that good.. He stumbled on one of the school's trash cans making it banged on the floor and completely loses his balance and landed butt first on the floor..

He hisses in pain for his hand wounds, but his heart aches more.. Jungkook heard his voice and walked out of the office.. From there he saw his crying boy friend and his bleeding hands..

'Minnie!!' He hurriedly kicked the stainless trash bin and lowered himself to Jimin's height. 'What happened?'

'Just leave me alone Kookie..' He looked away.

'What are you saying?? Why are you acting like this?? Did I do something to upset you??' He cupped the smaller's cheek but Jimin eventually slapped it away.

'/scoffed/ Stop pretending Kookie.. It's not working now..'

'What?!'

'Do you think I wouldn't know?? Do you think it is better if you hide the truth?? Was lying to me about your scholarship satisfying, Kookie?? I thought you were going to study here with me.. I thought you will never leave me.. Then why now, huh?! /glares at him/ Wasn't my efforts enough?! Wasn't our relationship enough for you to stay?? Is this what you're gonna tell me later?? TELL ME!!' Jimin screams..

'Yes..' He simply replied.

'Why?! WHY?!!!' Jimin gripped the latter's arms.. 'Why can't you choose me for once?? Why do you have to decide on your own?? I am your boyfriend, Kookie!! And I have all the rights to know..'

'I tried so hard to refuse their offer, Minnie!! I tried so hard to forget about my dreams because of YOU!! But I can't!! I can't lose my only chance to be on TOP!!' Jungkook exclaimed. 'I needed this to achieve my goal, Minnie.. I hope you understand.. /lowered his head/ I-I can't disappoint my parents, cause I don't want them to disown me.. /teary eyed/ Please don't hate me.. I-I don't know what to do anymore..' He bit his lower lip and started crying.

'So, in the end, you still choose them over me.. OVER our relationship for the past two and a half years..' He tried so hard not to cry but he failed. 'Then what will happen to us now, Kookie?? What will happen to our promises that we won't leave each other??'

'We can still have our relationship.. But for now, I need to fly to Boston.. Long distance relationship won't hurt right?? Am I right??' Jungkook said while giving him a genuine smile.

'But I want you to stay.. I want you to be with me all the time.. Please Kookie, choose me..' Jimin pleaded. 'I-I can work for both of us.. Just don't go..'

'I can't.. I already signed the scholarship contract.. Please Minnie, don't make it hard for me too.. I love you so much that it hurts..'

'THEN FIGHT FOR ME, JUNGKOOK!! I WANT YOU TO FIGHT FOR ME.. I ALWAYS FIGHT FOR YOU WHENEVER THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO BREAK US APART.. NOW DO IT FOR ME TOO.. DON'T LEAVE ME..' Jimin knelt down and looked up to him. 'Kookie please..'

Jungkook released himself from the latter's embrace and went back to his mentors and coach..

'I'm sorry Minnie, but this is more important to me.. Let's break up.. Goodbye, Park Jimin..'
