A new day, a new adventure. I arose from the bed and my eyes fluttered open.
*beep beep*
Time to put that on snooze. I reached over and as I click the button I notice my hands are extremely pale today; I think I might be ill today. Well I guess that means no school. I get up and walk to the mirror to see if I was right. I think I might be going crazy. Did I die last night? Am I really alive? Is this what growing up does to you? Am I magic? Can people see me? What does this mean? Why can't I see myself? All these questions rushing and screaming in my head.

The door opens and my mom walks in and looks at me as if she's just seen the worst horror movie come to life.
"I didn't realise I was that ugly!" We both chuckle and she points out that I'm very pale as well. That answered my questions. I run downstairs and get their in a flash, wow I can run fast now. Wait! Pale skin, no reflection, super speed: There is only one thing this can mean. A Vampire!
