"So, what are we gonna do now?" Gus shrugged. "Do you wanna go to the carnival?" I stared at him. I really didn't wanna go to the carnival at first, but now that he's asking me to go with him, I don't mind the idea so much. Actually, it seemed fun. I don't know why it was any different, but it was to me.

"Actually, yeah, lets go. I'm gonna go get ready." and I did just that. I grabbed some clothes and went into the bathroom. I looked at the time, and it was now 2.

After putting on my clothes and minimal makeup, I decided I'd leave my hair a messy straight from yesterday, brushing it out of course. When I came out of the bathroom, Gus was looking at his phone, but looked up when I walked back into my bedroom. "Ooo, Luca get it." I rolled my eyes and smiled, throwing my dirty clothes at him.

He laughed and pushed the clothes on the floor. "Hey, some of the guys asked if we wanted to meet up with them at Five Guys. Wanna go?" I thought about it for a few seconds, but then nodded. "Sure." I smiled.

He grabbed his keys off my nightstand, which were by the donuts, which apparently we had finished somehow at some point in time. We got in the car, him driving, when I texted my mom and told her that we were going out to eat. She replied with an "Ok love you" so I told her I loved her too and then sat my phone in my lap.

"Hey, you know, you're lucky." I looked over at Gus, and laughed slightly. "And why is that?" He looked at me, then smiled and looked at the road. "I don't introduce any girls to my friends. They're idiots." I looked ahead. "What makes me any different from other girls?"

I looked out the window when I heard him chuckle. "I'm not sure myself." I turned my phone back on and started scrolling through my feed until I saw the photo I'd see of me the other day. "I still can't believe you posted that picture of me." He laughed.

"It was cute." I rolled my eyes and mumbled a yeah yeah, smiling.

"Is Tracy gonna be there?" He stopped at a red light then nodded. "He's gonna flirt with you, so I need you to make it very clear to him that you don't like him, okay?" I nodded, somewhat questioning what I'd say if he actually did flirt with me, but the chances of that are unlikely.

"Annnnnnd we're here." Gus smiled at me, showing his dimples. I've realized that his smile is contagious and I must've caught the flu. We got out of the car, shutting the door at the same time, which made me smile even wider. I looked at the ground and crossed my arms as we walked in until Gus stopped me. "Are you okay?" I nodded, realizing that I must've looked upset since I was looking down and crossing my arms, which I quickly stopped.

"Ay, Peep! Over here my boy!" Gus smiled when he saw his friends, and when we got over there, Tracy immediately gave him a noogie or whatever you call those things. Tracy looked at me, then somewhat smirked. I looked at him and put my hand out for him to shake, smiling. "Hi, I'm Luca." He grabbed my hand with both of his and pulled it up to his lips, barely brushing them against my hand, then kissing my hand and letting go.

"Tracy." I pulled my hand away, somewhat uncomfortable, but I didn't actually mind much. Gus wrapped his arm around my shoulder's and pulled me close to him. He was tense, but he loosened up when one of his other friends called us to sit down. Gus sat beside Tracy, and I sat beside (random name ha.) Kyle, another one of his friends, who was actually very sweet.

The waitress walked up to our table and asked what we'd like to drink. I asked her for sweet tea, and Gus asked for Dr. Pepper. Noted.

The three of them talked until Kyle asked me what I like to do. I didn't have an answer other than getting high and forgetting, which was kind of disappointing for me, and when Gus noticed, he answered for me. "Ah, her mom told me that she played a lot of instruments in her past." Gus smiled at me, tapping his foot against my leg as reassurance.

"Oh thats cool. Her mom? You've already met her mom? He must be serious about this one, eh." Tracy nudged Gus when the waiter came back with our drinks. I took a sip of mine and Gus punched Tracy playfully then got out his phone.

Gus' pov~

I couldn't help it, I needed a picture, and I was gonna get one. As soon as she popped up on my camera, I couldn't help but smile. She was so cute.

People just saying that they thought low of Luca made my blood boil, but I brushed it off. I just met her, I shouldn't care this much, but I do, and Tracy can tell. He's gonna make fun of me, but I'm not in love, she just makes me happy when she's happy and it's been like that since I saw her first at the coffee shop. I'm not sure how to control it, but I'm trying to brush it off. It's not working.
