She kept flirting with him. I really don't know why did it hurt. But I stopped paying attention to her stupid flirting behavior.
"Yeah, it must be exhausting not being at home the whole year" she said playing with her hands.
"I get to see my fam four times a year, it's sad but it's what makes me happy" Bill replies with a enormous smile on his face
"Well, if it makes you happy it's fine. I'd love to try that life. It must be interesting"
"You wouldn't" I came out with suddenly. "Then I wouldn't have anyone here"
"You have mom, Val" responded Bill laughing .
"Shut up" I blurted out.
"Hey, you two" Said Sarah "Don't fight, you have to love each other"
"I don't love this stork which is supposed to be my brother" I called Bill.
"Val, you two are the same height"
"Sarah, you are not into this fight"
"I'm not fighting, you are" Bill excused himself
"Oh, fuck you and your famous ass"
Bill disappeared laughing through the kitchen's door. Sarah and I were alone again.
"Are you two constantly fighting like this? I mean his 5 years older than you. He's almost a 30 year old man. And you're still in college."
"Why are you defending him? Do you have a thing on him?"
"What? No" She sounded surprised.
"Oh god don't tell me you're into one of my older brothers, mainly Bill"
"No Val"
"Oh dear, you should have chosen another one, he's the last person I want to see you with"
"He's not that bad, why do you hate him so much?"
"I don't hate him, I'm his brother, i've met his ex girlfriends and I know the reasons why each of them broke up with Bill, and it's always Bill's fault. I don't want you to be another one"
"Val, you're talking nonsense, I don't care about your brother's relationships, I don't want to go out with him, we just like to chat, I know you want to protect me, trust me when I say to you that I don't want anything with Bill"
