"They're asking you back."

Ahsoka pulled her hood further over her head to keep the stormy, Coruscant rain off of her face.

"I'm asking you back."

She took a discreet look back at the Jedi Temple. It had been her home for many years, and now it seemed to be a stranger to her.

"Ahsoka, wait! The Jedi Order is your life! You can't just walk away!"

She sighed, continuing to walk down the path.

"I understand, more than you realize. I understand wanting to walk away from the order."

She muttered under her breath. "I know."

It had been a long time, perhaps ages, since Anakin and Ahsoka last spoke. It was a heartbreaking day. But Ahsoka knew it was the choice she had to make.

The familiar clicking of clone trooper boots against the walkway sounded behind her. Ahsoka slowly brought her hands to her lightsabers. She heard the clones stop, getting ready to fire. "Put your hands up, Commander."

"You know I'm not a commander anymore."

"I said, put your hands up."

Ahsoka quickly ignited the blades and spun around. The clones opened fire, but Ahsoka deflected every blaster bolt. Even though she hadn't been fighting by Anakin's side, she still kept up her technique. Ahsoka force pushed the clones back. She pushed them over the railing, save one. The clones' screams radiated off of Coruscant's buildings as they fell into the darkness of the Underworld. Ahsoka brought the last trooper to her, destroying his weapon so he wouldn't try anything tricky. "Tell me, soldier, why are the clones firing on Jedi!"

"I'll never tell a Jedi scum like you!"

Ahsoka pursed her lips. "I know you, we used to fight along side each other... Fox, isn't it?" She didn't want to do this, but he wouldn't have talked if she didn't. She clenched her fist, force choking him. "Tell me what I want to know, soldier. Tell me everything."

Fox struggled. "We...have orders! We have no choice!"

"In this war I've learned you always have a choice!"

"It's order...66!"

"Order 66?" She let the clone go. "That's-that's what Fives was investigating...before he...died." She had heard stories from the friends she still had in the Order. "Are there any survivors?" she asked solemnly.

"There are no survivors in the Jedi Temple, or on any planet we know of. The Jedi are extinct! And at the hand of General Anakin Skywalker!"

"Anakin..." Ahsoka took a few steps back, shocked.

"He's led us fearless into battle! We know our true duty, and I-"

Ahsoka killed him before he could say anymore, or contact Anakin or anyone in the 501st for that matter. She could see riot guards off in the distance and started to run. If she could make it to her ship, she could get off this horrid place and find any living Jedi. Fox may think the Jedi are extinct, but Ahsoka could feel their life force spread thin across the galaxy. Very few were left...so very few. But there was one she knew could help her, one who was thankfully still alive.

As she slipped through the shadows of Coruscant, dodging any Clone Troopers scouting the streets, Ahsoka contacted Obi-Wan Kenobi. "Master Kenobi? Master Kenobi, do you copy?"

"Kenobi here. Ahsoka, is that you?"

"One and only."

"Oh, thank the Force they didn't get to you! Where are you?"
