FLASHBACK

it was the fourth of july, me and my boyfriend Ghost were at a fireworks show. Ghosts real name is Devin but he said an old ex and his group of friends gave him that nickname so he stuck with it. I saw this guy, honestly he was super attractive.
"Hey ghost?"
I asked
"Hm?"
he looked at me
"Who's that?"
and I pointed at him
"him?, that's Chris Cerulli, I thought he left this town years ago, he doesn't belong here."
at first it seemed as if he was talking to me but I'm not sure.
I was checking Chris
"What are you doing!?"
ghost asked
"Uh nothing.."
I said

ghost got up and walked over to the firework guy

I thought I loved ghost but he was psycho.

I don't quite remember the rest.
I just remember a firework hitting me and seeing ghost smirk and run away.

then who knows how much longer later I woke up in the hospital, I noticed I had a roommate.
my vision cleared and it was Chris Cerulli.

"Um, are you Chris Cerulli?"
I asked kind of awkwardly

"I am.. may I ask who you are?"
he said, his voice was so.. I don't even know how to explain but I liked it

"I'm Michael Kuza, you probably don't know me." I said

"Doesn't sound familiar, Hey were you the guy with Ghost at the fireworks show?" he asked

"Uh yeah, he didn't seem very fond of you.." I said not wanting to push any buttons

"Yes well, we had a thing in high school, sorry if you guys are a thing but he's crazy.. I think he was the one who hit me with the firework.."he trailed off

"We were a thing but definitely not anymore, and yeah he was" I said remembering his smirk

"If he cared about you why would he do that to you?" he asked, sounding worried

"Um... well.. uh.." I muttered and could feel my face getting red

goddamn it why is he so attractive
I thought to myself

"uh?" he asked

I was always a straight up person because who cares if they turn you down at least you tried right?

"I was kinda checking you out a little.." I said quickly

he smiled but was blushing.

and it all led up to us how me are today

"Mr.Kuza"? a nurse asked

"Yeah?" I replied

"Mr.Cerulli should be waking up here shortly." she said with enthusiasm

I smiled "Thank you"

"Of course" she smiled also and walked out

about 20 minutes later Chris woke up.
I started crying tears of joy and Chris looked at me weird
"Mike why are you crying?" he asked
I didn't answer him I just kissed him and hugged him
he kissed and hugged back
"Where the hell am I and what happened." he asked, he sounded horse
"you're at the hospital.. and"
I raised his arm
"You have some explaining to do."

he looked at me wide eyed
"Mike I swear I didn't do it."
I knew Chris had self harm issues in the past because of loosing his mom and all.
"I believe you, I do." I said honestly
"It was that thing." he said with disgust
"I was scared of that.." I said muttering the end
"Chris, I know you're not religious but we need a preiest.." I said
"Mike." he tried to protest
"Do you want this shit to keep happening!?"
I asked
he sighed
"Fine."
"Now listen, Chris they're gonna keep you here for about 2 or 3 days to watch your behavior because they thought you did this to yourself. I'm not staying at our house alone because I know how dangerous it is. I'm gonna go stay in a hotel or something, I'm not sure."
I explained
"Okay, good.."
he said
I kissed him again and told the nurse he woke up and they took my love away from me.
"We will release him in 7 days Mr.Kuza, we have your number on file and we'll call you when to come and get him okay?" the nurse asked
"Yeah.." I muttered and walked away.
I'm upset they took him away from me so quickly.

I got in my car and pulled out my phone, dialed my mom
she answered on the second ring
"Hello dear how are you?" she always answered like that
"I'm good, I was wondering if I could stay with you for a few days or a week or so" I asked knowing what she was gonna say
"Of course honey, did you leave that Chris, I never did like him, he was odd."
I knew it
"No mom, I just miss you that's all." I said, didn't want to explain to her about Chris
"Too bad, but yes my doors are always open to you. I know it's a while from
Washington, I don't know why you live there it rains so much."
she nagged
"Bye mom, love ya."
is all I said and hung up

I returned home to get some clothes and etc
I did it quickly,so I could leave quickly.
I got everything in my car and left,
"I guess I'm PA bound"
