Chapter nine- feeling guilty

Toby's point of view

I got up along with Masky and Hoody and headed back to the mansion, she we got there we confronted Slender Man nervously "s-sir Jeff and the other two got away" I stuttered "no need to worry Toby for I have managed to kill Jeff and capture his friends/brother"

I signed in relief "what do you want us to do with them master?" I asked " just leave them, wait for them to get over their loss for Jeff before killing them" I saluted at Slender Man's orders before heading off to guard the prison that held Jane, Liu, Ben and laughing Jack.

I suddenly thought, I respect Slender Man and I liked to kill but at the same time I felt bad for Jane and Liu for losing Jeff, I knew how it felt to loose a sibling/friend I loved.

When I went down to the cells I heard the sobbing noises of Jane and Liu "I can't believe Jeff's actually gone" I heard Jane whisper into Liu's arms, I thought about how I had reacted when I had lost my sister Lyra.

Flashback

"Hey Mom where are we going?" Lyra had asked "we're going to the park so you and your brother can play together" our Mom said "g-gee thanks M-om-om" I stuttered.

We kept driving until Mom saw a figure in the road, she steered but the car crashed on the side of the road, as you know I survived but sadly Lyra didn't.

End of flashback

When I heard Jane and Liu crying turned to look at them "h-hey-ey I-I know you you feel-eel" they stopped crying and looked up "why are you speaking to us after trying to kill us?" Liu asked.

"Listen I may work for Slender Man but I feel sorry for you, I lost my sister Lyra when I was seventeen" I stood up and walked off.

Nina's point of view

I sat in my room, thinking about what Jeff had done for me "he saved me...I tried killing him but he saved me...and now he's gone" I said to myself until I heard Slender Man call me.

I walked into the great hall to see Eyeless Jack, Sally, Clockwork, Masky, Hoody, Toby, Smile Dog and all the other creepypasta monsters including Slender Man who was standing at the front of the room so I joined the crowd.

"Pastas and proxies!" Slender Man spoke up "tonight we are going on a killing spree!" I was pleased but for some reason I felt something gurgling in my stomach like when you're in trouble and you know you're about to be told off.

I and every other proxy and pasta monster ran out of the mansion and towards the city, we all split ways and I spotted a house, climbed through an open window and snuck towards a teenage boy's bed.

The boy some up and I rose my knife in the air "why nighty night" I whispered.

(Yes I changed Nina's catch phrase because her real phrase "go to sleep my prince" is stupid and unoriginal) I was about to stab the boy but I thought about what Jeff had said "life isn't all about killing people" Jeff's voice said in my head.

"N-no I can't kill you it-it isn't right" I stuttered, suddenly my head started throbbing painfully, making me scream in pain "Miss are you okay?" The boy asked me "run kid just RUN!" I ordered, the boy did as he was told.

"Kill the boy" I heard Slender Man's voice demand in my head "do it, do it!, DO IT!" The voice demanded, suddenly I was being possessed somehow my body was being controlled "fine if you won't kill him I'll do it for you" the voice said.

Slender Man made me smash the door open and I followed the boy, as I was about to kill him I tried to free myself but it was no use, until the boy pulled out a baseball bat and yelled "stay away from me!" Before whacking me over the head with it.

I woke up and saw the boy about to call the cops "wait!" I shouted, standing up " what now?" The boy asked annoyed "it's okay I won't hurt you" I then explained that I was being possessed and surprisingly the boy believed me "that explains why your eyes turned black" he responded.

I then walked towards the window "just don't tell anyone I was here" the boy nodded in agreement and I crawled out the window and ran off back to the mansion.
