Chapter twelve- big trouble

Toby's point of view

Slender Man stood angrily in front of me and EJ "can you explain to me why you woke up you and EJ's victim?" He asked me and I explained everything from the yelling to the looking away "I see...but that isn't a good excuse you're a SERIAL KILLER FOR ZALGO'S SAKE!" He yelled at me furiously.

"Hey it wasn't his fault" EJ stepped in "I DON'T CARE NOW GO BY TO GO YOUR ROOM, ONE MORE ACT LIKE THAT AND YOU'LL END UP WITH THE OTHER TRAITORS!" He threatened.

I just backed away and ran off to my bedroom, tears streaming from my eyes as I cried for Jeff, cried for my mom and cried for Lyra.

Eyeless Jack's point of view

I looked up at Slender Man, trying to keep my anger towards him for upsetting Toby like that "and what's my punishment master?" I calmly asked "you're not being punished however I am surprised that you stuck up for Toby like that, he did attempt to get you caught after all"

I nodded "can I go now?" I said "yes you may" I went into the kitchen which wasn't the type you get in an ordinary home it was more like those cafeteria kitchens you get at restraunts, prisons or even schools.

There wasn't much there just the normal shit you get in prisons so I went outside and just sat there, thinking about Jeff, I heard singing and saw that it was Toby singing in memory of Jeff.

It was  coming from Toby's bedroom window so I walked over and climbed inside since it was on the ground floor, I sat next to Toby on the bed and he looked up at me, his face was sodden with tears and his mask and goggles were off.

"You really miss them don't you?" I guessed, referring to Toby's mom, his sister and Jeff "I just w-want-ant them b-back-ack" Toby stuttered as he rested his head in my lap and I caressed his cheek to while away the tears.

That moment when Toby cried into my chest was when I realized something, Slender Man didn't think of Toby or the rest of us as his kids, he thought of us as his servants, Toby had stopped crying and by the time he did my hoodie was set with Toby's tears.

We put the radio on and the song that was on was called coming back down by Hollywood undead so We sang along with the lyrics.

Ticci Toby's point of view

When we were done with the song I went outside to collect my thoughts together

"I like Jeff...but I can't disobey Slender Man-an but I also don't want to kill anyone if it means disrespecting Jeff's honor-or like Jane and Liu told me"

I pondered for a moment before sitting under a tree in the woods "what do I do?" I thought to myself before signing miserably.

Then Hoodie came up to me "what's wrong Toby? Moping about Jeff again?" Hoodie asked rudely "hey Jeff was like a brother to me so I would prefer it if you weren't such an asshole to me!" I exclaimed.

Hoody folder his arms "Jeff betrayed us why would you feel sad for his death?" Hoody asked as if I was an idiot.

I stood up furiously "Listen asshat Jeff sacrificed himself by saving Nina from falling into a river!" I shouted "I hope you're not getting too soft Toby" Hoody told me.

"I don't know what you're talking about" I remarked before heading off.

Hoody's point of view

I followed Toby back to the mansion and headed into Slender Man's office "sir I think that Toby's getting soft" I informed Slender Man firmly "I know but don't worry I know Toby well enough to know that he would never betray me"

I nodded "I'm not sure about that, he was defending Jeff Ford some reason" Slender Man was concerned "that is worrying but don't worry because of he does betray me I can control him" Slender Man told me.
