Ash's P.O.V

Being sick is awful. Especially around the girl you like. She was grossed out, as was I, but she was still there for me. Sometimes I really wonder what I did to get such amazing friends. As Brock went to clean the bucket (A/N this is so gross I'm sorry 😂) Misty stayed by my side. "You feeling any better?" She asks softly. "Hmm. Kind of" I murmur with a small smile. "Here,Ash, do you want some water?" She asks. "Yeah. Thanks,Mist" I say. She's way to good to me. "Ash?" Misty questions. "Yeah?". "I was wondering if-" she started but was cut off by my mom walking in. "Hi honey. Are you feeling OK? Brock said you've got a temperature. Are you feeling hot or cold?" She said I'm a rush as she hugged me. "Yes, I'm alright thanks to Brock and Misty and I'm feeling cold" I replied with a sigh. "Oh my poor boy. I'm sorry, I was just worried about you." Mom says with a smile. "I'm fine, really mom. I promise" I assure her with a smile. "Oh good honey. Come on Ash, pack up. I'm going to take you home just so I can keep an eye on you" Mom tells me. "Hey,mom?" I ask her. "Yes hon,what is it" she questions. "Can Brock and Misty stay over? I haven't seen them in so long and we just met up and I-" I said but was cut off by mom. "Of course they can stay over, but what about Serena,Clemont and his little sister? Where will they stay?" She asked. "Oh. I guess I didn't really think of that." I agree with her. Just as I say that,Bonnie,Serena and Clemont come into the room. "Oh,hello Mrs.Ketchum!" Serena says happily. "Hello" Bonnie and Clemont say simontanliously. I began to get really nervous as they walked in. No, I don't like Serena but I got nervous because I thought my mom my let them stay instead of Brock and Misty. I know she probably wouldn't but it still made me worry. "Hey,Ash, we've gotta go. I know it's short notice but we really need to go back home. Serena's coming with us" Clemont says with a smile. I mentally jumped up and down. I know it sounds mean but I really want Brock and Misty to stay. "Oh that's OK. I'll see you guys around" I say with a sad smile. I am genuinely going to miss them a bit. "Get well soon Ash" Serena says with a smile before saying goodbye to Brock and I then closing the door behind her.

Misty's P.O.V
I was kind of happy that Serena left as she was being rude,but towards the end she was being nice and I thought that we might of been able to be friends. As I was thinking apparently it had been decided that Brock and I were definitely staying with Ash and Mrs.Ketchum. "Hello? Misty I said is that alright with you?" Ash says,waving a hand in front of my face. "Oh sorry,lost I thought" I say. "Oh. Anyways is it OK if you stay with me for the whole weekend? Brock can only stay tonight as he's the only one to run the gym because Forrest is sick. What about you?" Ash asks. "They better be able to take care of the gym. It'd be fun to stay with you in Pallet" I tell him with a smile. "Great! I don't wanna be alone this weekend" he says sadly. "Hey! You have me!" Mrs.Ketchum says pretending to be offended. "Of course I have you,mom. But I'd love someone my own age. It would be weird to be alone after being with three people for so long" He explains. "Oh that's alright sweetie, I understand, you're too cool to hang out with your mom" Mrs.Ketchum says with a grin. "No!" Ash says weakly. "Hey,Ash rest up." I say softly. "But I need to pack up and-" He says in a panic but I cut him off. "Brock and I are going to do that for you. Do you really think we'd leave you do it?" I say. "No." He says flatly. "Hey cheer up,Mr. Pokémon Master" I say to him with a smile. He just smiles back at me
